lol at people just wanting the best of both worlds - for me it reduces realism and managerial awareness if players are available for clubs despite being called up for international fixturesGM-crowfan65 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 12:54 amThats always the sticking point, people want to keep their players and get the compensation too

A poll would be interesting. I personally think the NAT scene adds another enjoyable managing element. It can be frustrating but an enjoyable aspect to juggle.
Either way, I think rather than kill off NTs, we're better off finding ways to get more managers interested.

If we kill off NATs we do it right now so that UAE are forever the reigning World Cup champions

NATs is fringe when it comes to FTP, it probably always will be a fringe part of FTP. And that's okay. If FTP as a whole is healthy and growing then the NAT involvement will also grow.
I also believe part of the reason behind lack of numbers when election time arrives is due to how many elections are somewhat known in advance once someone established runs. And whilst the overall game numbers are where they are you can't really force your way in, there's not enough votes to go around.

Re: Interest in International cricket
WOW my monthly visit to the Forum and I discover this , Boscorp at it again , does not let the previous post end , jumps in with his post to repair the damage AlexD did with his . calls in the troops for back up Alot of unknown names suddenly appear to support Boscorp ............
Once upon a time I was interested in international cricket on FTP , but that was MANY years ago . Most new managers are starstruck in becoming an international manager , but eventually that wears off and interest disappears.
Look at results of recent YTH elections think it was 15 out of 20 managers got voted in UNAPPOSED. International managers think they are Special , they get to play extra games ..FREE ..they get to pick from the best players in their country , and do not care about the damage it does to the teams losing a player.
Having a player taken out of your squad Might cost you to lose your next 2 matches . Losing 4 points can mean .
1.Possible relegation
2.Missing out on promotion
3.Missing out on a top 4 place ,, no prizemoney.
Personally I got no interest in internat cricket managers or results (never looked at them)
Crowfan says the Forum is dead ...tell you why your friend Boscorp ... Posts: 1746...he kills off the Forum all over it having his say on everything
a complete nuisance
