"Player selected in touring squad" message not sent

One of my players, Nicky Saunders, has been selected in the Australian youth touring squad. I didn't get a message at all and only found out just now when I looked at my default orders for tomorrows Youth T20 game and saw his name was missing.

There was game news about Nat issues, including the flag warning people to check.
