What's with the guest Franchise. We can form our own franchise and participate?

We were struggling to get enough teams to fill 6 franchises so it was going to be a 4 franchise tournament, but Bermuda and UAE are each entering a guest franchise to make it 6 franchises.

It's a way to increase community interest since those franchises will be representing their nations, it's not just a random group of teams playing together.

Increases forum involvement as well.

It's been done before as well, we've had West Indies participate a few times and even Bangladesh played for a season or 2 a while back.

Also UAE have participated before too.

Using real-life examples, think of it as an Afghanistan A team being invited to play a domestic tournament in India or Pakistan, or Kenya and Namibia being invited to a South African domestic tournament.

Next season I will try to gather Indian manager to form a franchise and participate. I see we already have 3-4 members from Indian community already participating here

PSL will not be played next season, instead it will be played every alternate season, just to give people a break from having to participate every season.

Also gives a chance for other nations to possibly make their own competitions

That being said, happy to see an India franchise for next time.

Actually, inspiration for PSL was partly from the Giants Cup, a franchise competition that Indian community used to run years back and was very popular.
