Very difficult to train WK ,apart from bowling ,we have to train him in everything .

keeping and keep-bat trng are much faster than normal trng though

I'm not sure this is correct but when I have a keeper, I train 'keeper' until he pops keeper, then change to Fielding until he pops, then to Batting Technique until he pops, Batting until he pops, back to keeping .. and repeat.

Come for the tactics, stay for the chaos, and leave with enough tournament anecdotes to confuse future generations of supporters

I’ve never tried that way but I assume it would be less efficient than KB plus topping up tech/fielding.

I usually train my keepers with fielding, then WK/Bat then onto Batting Tech to make up any Technique short fall.Of course this depends on their starting stats, but this is my usual plan.

Is there still that odd occasion where a player would pop to Spec captaincy but then plop straight back the following week? Or did that get fixed

not sure i ever saw it as it is a hard cap at 10000 not 10999

I have never seen a spectacular captaincy pop, but I have seen recruits with spect capt only for it to plop to outstanding the next week
