I voted no. I think roleplay and Realism is important and fun aspects to the game. And you wouldn't see a club in real life ban a player from representing their country.

For what it's worth, I'm not proposing anyone gets banned from international cricket; in fact, the main point is to remove the downside that would lead to club managers wanting to ban them in the first place. But I get the realism concern.

Absolutely agree with that , in real world quite often the Player himself makes that decision .
This game is not real , the player can not make that decision .

You also don't hear of players competing in club matches whilst they are in another country completing an international tour for their country.

I reckon the majority of managers are happy to manage their club and players under the current system as its not overly intrusive and for some it's quite rewarding.

Ironically, I am definitely on the other side, and since I am the boss, it sucks to be all of you
But truthfully, I am happy to go with the majority and maintain the status quo

Re: Poll: National Players' Club Availabilit
I agree that the game should maintain some sort of realism and player availability. If players are unavailable/absent for the week while on tour from club games then that unavailability should also extend to the MKMC match for that week. We should be consistent about it. The Cup match is played before they return (midnight Sunday).

What's to stop touring players from coming back on the Saturday to be available for the cup game the next day?boscorp wrote: ↑Sun Jul 13, 2025 10:31 pmI agree that the game should maintain some sort of realism and player availability. Re: Poll: National Players' Club Availabilit
If anything it would be the cup game the week before the tour that the player should miss. (If they’re going to miss any cup games to be aligned with reality) No one’s playing a club match in New Zealand then playing a national tournament the next day in England.
Just here to contribute a few cracking commentary lines and spend hours on the transfer market.

Re: Poll: National Players' Club Availabilit
It definitely should be one of the weeks. Currently they go on tour for 7 days and with the current schedule should be unavailable for Cup matches the Sunday following their tour matches, same as the Nat managers can't change the squad until they return. Either way I believe the player should be unavailable to the club for the 7 days regardless of when they go.
