End of over 43 (2 runs) - Gully Boys CC(178-10) RR 4.14

Much better than I thought it would be but it's still something they can successfully defend if we don't bat very well. Moses took 3-53 but was quite expensive and Ten Dam had figures of 3-45. Massey was very economical with 2-19 from 7 overs.

well for a rare change the dramatic collapse didn't materialise and we've managed a very respectable 223/8 in our 50 overs. No doubt who the star performer was, Riedewald with a magnificent unbeaten 122 from 159 balls opening the innings. Got to be favourites with that score, but given our bowling attack I can never be too confident

A comfortable win really. All the batsmen got into double figures with Best getting 51 not out, Mills 38, and Liberatore 35 not out.

It means we're top but perhaps only for a week as we play Sledgingshire next and they are in 2nd place.

Well, that's why we're going down. Not defending 223 on cloudy/sticky is pretty inexcusable really. Some of the bowlers I can excuse due to lack of experience etc, but Gootjes with 1/63 from 10 in these conditions is a shocking effort for a nat level bowler. Very happy with how we batted, especially Riedewald with his magnificent century, but really it's a dreadful effort with the ball. Our fielding was also very sloppy as well compared to the opps, which is frustrating as we rated far higher in that department. Result: lost by 2 wickets.

Won the toss so we bowled first.

It wasn't looking too great after the first 3 overs of bowling but we recovered nicely.

I didn't think we'd win by 10 wickets but I think us having the better bowlers was key.

We dropped 4k in ratings after losing our keeper which isn't too bad I suppose. Bullock hit 66 not out and Jupp 50 not out.

Could do with a win here. There was a change of pitch from flat to slow which suits me fine anyway. That doesn't mean it'll necessarily go well though.

We won the toss and decided to bowl first. I would have been okay batting too. I generally don't mind whether I bat or bowl on a slow pitch and I always prefer to bowl first in T20.

Does the game know that this changed from a flat pitch to a slow pitch? I bet it realises it's mistake just before we start batting.

We're not going to win this one as we couldn't get any wickets until it was far too late.
