I feel he is borderline making the squad. I've just upgraded my youth academy so that's a plus. Fielding is fine. Right now I'm concentrating on leveling his technique and bowling. My concern is, will I have to do something about his atrocious power?

Being a wristie we will give him every chance to make it
We will overlook the power a little but his exp needs to improve drastically though
Mke sure he plays as often as he can and yes get the tech a little closer to help him out

do spinners really need power? ditto for spinning all-rounders, how much power would you want eventually?
Yes they do
I tent to get them to reas/cap as seniors, maybe a little higher if they can bat too
Sometimes you have to sacrifice something to make a decent AR and on a spinner power is often one of the things you look at

Yeah I understand, it can be a real balancing act sometimes
Just do what you can because at the end of the day we can't give any guarantees

The average keeper at this stage of 18 wouldn't be too far from yours, another level of bat and he would be close
As a nat team we have had a good run of wks and it looks to continue for next season

We have an 18yo in the squad already

Talents Prodigy, Finisher
Experience average
Skills
Batting reliable Endurance capable
Bowling poor Technique reliable
Keeping accomplished Power ordinary
Fielding capable

And he has a good offsider too

Talents Accumulator
Experience average
Skills
Batting reliable Endurance average
Bowling average Technique reliable
Keeping reliable Power ordinary
Fielding average

Rule of thumb I have for youth keepers is keep-bat trng till keep is accom then bat trng till accom
Hopefully this occurs before he turns 20
Ultimately I like bat and keep to be similar (no more than a level or so) but will let it drift to 2 or so while they are young
