The decision seemed to pay off initially as they posted a competitive total of 304 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 50 overs, with Eric Gibbon leading the charge with a brilliant century.

Gibbon's composed innings of 133 runs off 136 balls, including 5 boundaries and 1 six, set the tone for Ireland's batting performance. Supported by valuable contributions from J. Mulcahy (52) and G. However, Zimbabwe's strong batting performance led by Regis Mlambo and Tawanda Mvovo ensured their successful chase.

The Netherlands' innings got off to a shaky start, with early wickets falling to the bowling prowess of Andre Krige and Tawanda Mvovo. A. Aduard, J. Ugle-Hagan, and J. van Beeck were dismissed early, putting pressure on the Netherlands' batting lineup. Despite some resistance from Y. Cohnen, G. Goddard, and M. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, the Netherlands started cautiously but lost early wickets, putting them on the back foot. G. Goddard displayed with a well-constructed inning of 57 runs before being dismissed lbw by Frost. However, the Dutch team struggled to maintain momentum, with regular wickets falling at crucial times. Michael Van Gerwen with a resilient knock of 65 runs, steering his team to a respectable total of 214 runs.

The English bowlers exhibited disciplined bowling performances, with Frost being the pick of the bowlers, claiming three crucial wickets. Richards and Billy Batty steadied the ship with valuable contributions, but it was Batty's unbeaten knock of 64 runs that propelled the West Indies to a respectable total

Chasing a target of 144 runs for victory, the Netherlands faced early setbacks, losing wickets at regular intervals. Despite losing their top-order batsmen cheaply, the Netherlands remained composed, with contributions from the middle order steering them towards the target. Notable performances from M. The Netherlands got off to a decent start with opener A. van der Zanden scoring 13 runs off 10 balls before falling victim to a delivery from Chawaguta. However, it was Doug Hawkins who anchored the innings with a brilliant knock of 58 runs off 50 balls, supported by contributions from M. Van Gerwen (56 runs off 34 balls) and J. Ugle-Hagan (14 runs off 9 balls). The Dutch team managed to post a competitive total of 152 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, thanks to some disciplined bowling from the South African bowlers.

In a thrilling encounter between Zimbabwe U23 and Dutch U23, Zimbabwe U23 emerged victorious by 2 wickets in a closely fought match. Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Zimbabwe U23 put up a disciplined bowling performance to restrict Dutch U23 to a total of 199 runs in their allotted 50 overs.

Dutch U23 started their innings on a shaky note, losing early wickets. Despite some resistance from the middle order, they struggled to accelerate the scoring rate. Vincent Korthals was the standout performer for Dutch U23, scoring a well-compiled 64 runs to help his team reach a competitive total. However, the Zimbabwe U23 bowlers, led by E.Eggs & R. Simetu with 3 wickets each, kept a check on the run-scoring and picked up crucial wickets at regular intervals.

Chasing 200 for victory, Zimbabwe U23 got off to a disastrous start, losing their captain and wicketkeeper, H. Baloyi, for a duck on the second ball of the innings.
