N. Tuit (rfs) 5-0-19-0, A. Ata 57 (67b), S. Nasser 15 (47b)
End of over 19 (7 runs) - UAE U20(77-0) RR 4.05

Ata making up for his consecutive golden ducks this week.

Crumbling pitch. No wickets lost after 19 overs. I've played this game long enough to know what happens here.
Looking solid so far today Hep. Batting held up really well on crumbling so far. What an opening partnership.
Yep, but as expected, the good start has brought in the ME elastic band effect. We've just lost 5/50, and probably a few more before this is over.

N. Tuit (rfs) 8-0-27-3, J. Habib 3 (9b), M. Zafar 2 (2b)

Apologies all, bit on this week and haven’t had a chance to check daily but here’s a cheeky wrap of the four games thus far this week.

Monday we beat New Zealand by 7 runs.

Tuesday we lost to Bermuda by 90 runs.

Wednesday we lost a thriller to USA by 1 wicket!

Thursday we beat West Indies by 7 runs.

Our stars so far:

Anwar Abdel - 4/22 against NZ and a catch!

Kale Saheed - 3/29 against NZ and a catch!

Akram Ata - 81 runs and a catch against WI.

So how the ladder sits with one match left:
1. NZ - 3 wins +0.28 NRR
2. USA - 3 wins +0.25 NRR
3. Bermuda - 2 wins +0.38 NRR
4. UAE - 2 wins -0.38 NRR
5. West Indies - 1 win -0.27 NRR
6. Scotland - 1 win -0.28 NRR

The remaining matches start at 0900.
WI Vs Bermuda
Scotland vs UAE
USA Vs NZ

Mathematically we are still a chance to promote but we need a lot to happen.
1. We have to win BY A LOT to make up the NRR on NZ/USA
2. We need the NZ/USA result to be a blowout and damage the losers NRR
3. Bermuda have to lose to WI

NZ Vs USA has turned into an unofficial final - the winner will win the tour. All three matches could impact who promotes.

Tune in at 0900!
Just here to contribute a few cracking commentary lines and spend hours on the transfer market.

Thanks, Moose. We've been well on top of all games so far this week but only have two wins to show for it!

I'm just happy to win and survive today. Not worried about promotion.

F. Jack (lfs) 1-0-2-0, N. Rafi 18 (22b), J. Fattah 9 (21b)
End of over 7 (2 runs) - UAE U20(28-0) RR 4.00

Batting first against the Scots on dry/sunny. Will need at least 230 I think. This Scottish side looks very strong too.

End of over 22 (13 runs) - UAE U20(99-0) RR 4.50

Fattah starting to accelerate so he'll get out soon
We've had a good start to pretty much every innings batting or bowling this tour

End of over 46 (4 runs) - UAE U20(207-7) RR 4.50

Be lucky to limp to 230
We'll get them 70-4 and lose by 5 wickets then

D. Hassacoff (rfs) 10-1-53-0, N. Abdulah 30 (19b), A. Abdel 7 (8b)
End of over 50 (11 runs) - UAE U20(236-8) RR 4.72

We managed to drag out the collapse a little further than expected. Probably about par. Scotland bats all the way down to 10 so this will be tough.

We just dropped Coupar. Game is fairly even at this point, but a lack of wickets over the next 10 will kill us.

G. Khatib (lm) 6-0-39-0, P. Ferguson 46 (59b), G. Coupar 13 (27b)
End of over 28 (12 runs) - Scotland U20(117-2). 120 runs required from 22 overs. RR 4.18 RRR 5.45

EDIT: I have a bad feeling about that drop

28.4 6 Habib to Coupar : That's poor bowling from Habib, a juicy leg stump half volley is dispatched over square leg for six by Coupar.
28.3 4 Habib to Coupar : Nice use of the wrists there as Coupar turned it down to the boundary. Salih is far too fine for Habib's liking! Oh no, come on! I didn't mean it like that...

Finally some luck!

We took 4 quick wickets at the death to get out of jail.

UAE U20 won by 12 runs
D. Ingram, G. Khatib are tired.
N. Abdulah (rfs) 8.1-0-42-4, D. Ingram 0 (0b)
End of over 47 (maiden) - Scotland U20(224-10). 13 runs required from 3 overs. RR 4.77 RRR 4.33
