UAE U20 won by 4 wickets

S. Madison (rfm) 6.5-0-28-0, Q. Lynch 3 (7b), S. Hamdi 52 (57b)
End of over 42 (2 runs) - UAE U20(165-6) RR 3.93

Another win closed out by a debutant. We looked shaky for a second there, but managed to get things back on track.

HAMDI HAMDI HAMDI HAMDI

The ground still echoing as Hamdi and Lynch leave the pitch after Lynch sneaks a single to win the game. The bowlers were fantastic and the bats got the job done.

Tour Match # 3
VS πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦
Result: :party :thumbsup
UAE win by 4 wickets.

The Match in a tweet: Saleem strikes twice in his first two overs as UAE roll Canada for 164. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Man of the Match: Naji Saleem πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Our best: Naji Saleem - chief destroyer. 5/36 from his 7.4 overs. The quick was on fire today. First spell of 2/16.

Salim Hamdi - a solid 52 not out to bring home the win. Really stood up when called on.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

Great feeling to hand Canada their first loss and crack this tour wide open. Saleem was superb. Jeez there’s something about a big quick firing. It reminds you of the good ole days where lads bowled quick, didn’t give a [censored] and drank copious amounts of beers after the match. They also had wonderful facial hair and everyone knows that’s important.

Four teams will sit on two wins after three games. Means every win will be critical and NRR could be decisive.

Tune in at 0800 tomorrow as we take on South Africa who will be hungry for their first win this week.

Definitely no time for beers just yet! Not sure if these lads will want some anyway :D

L. Shuey (rws) 8-1-19-0, F. Hussein 13 (15b), J. Shakur 3 (9b)
End of over 31 (5 runs) - UAE U20(107-5) RR 3.45

Tough going in tough conditions. Need a partnership here.
Crumblers are weird, I've seen 250 chased and 120 defended so who knows whats enough? North of 180 gives us a chance I think

Few disappointing overs at the death but I'd have bitten your hand off for that from where we were! Competitive at the very least, over to the bowlers now

M. Khaleel (lfs) 9-2-34-1, E. Beast-Major 35 (59b), G. Diamond 33 (56b)
End of over 36 (7 runs) - South Africa U20(130-2). 82 runs required from 14 overs. RR 3.61 RRR 5.86

Was happy with our total however not taking enough wickets here. It's a crumbling pitch so we could still win, but I feel it's unlikely with so much batting talent still available.

EDIT: 10 runs and a drop off the next over. Getting unlikely now.

5 dropped catches in the last 10 overs. A little frustrating.

Need a big win for us and a big loss to someone in the Netherlands/Canada game tomorrow.

First Elimination Final 2017
🍐 vs πŸ¦…

Wait wait wait. Wrong Luke Shuey. Wrong robbery.

Tour Match # 4
VS πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦
Result: πŸ’”
πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦ win by 4 wickets with 3 balls to spare.

The Match in a tweet: πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ͺ πŸ’” Go back to footy Luke Shuey you πŸ₯”
This tweet is purely the opinion of the author and does not reflect the opinions or beliefs of the UAE national management

Man of the Match: Zane Baha πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ͺ

Our best:
Zane Baha
39 runs to help set a respectable target followed up with 2 wickets.

Fahd Hussein
60 runs to prove once again our batting strategy is just someone go semi large in the middle order.

Muwaffaq Khaleel
2/38 off his 10 including two maidens.

The South Africa mix has me confused, two west coast thugs and the fastest man alive. Odd odd behaviour.

Tune in at 0800 tomorrow as we take on Ireland.

We are still a mathematical chance but we need the lads to perform well tomorrow against the lucky leprechauns.
