Apologies all, real life has been BUSY this week.

Lads turned it around yesterday to pick up a win after two disappointing losses. Hopefully can get another two wins and finish the tour with some confidence.

The lads turn it on late in the week to get three wins on the trot and snag the promotion to Div 2.

Week Results:
Loss to Zimbabwe by 9 wickets
Loss to Ireland by 6 wickets
Win against Canada by 22 runs
Win against Scotland by 6 wickets
Win against Pakistan by 5 wickets.

Ubaid Kedar was our best in the Fantasy Points with 202 and a MOTM performance against Scotland.
Nawfal Shadi was best on against Canada with his 5 wicket haul.

Kedar also lead the way with the bat - his 173 runs @43.25 our best for the tour (second best overall).
Jabbar's 81 against Canada the best individual score for the tour (from all nations).

Armanjani and Shadi took the equal most wickets (both with 6).

Alam was the most economical with his ER of 5.75 (he did only play one game).

Ishaq got our only runout for the tour.

That's a wrap on a senior T20 tour.

The U20 lads jet off to a Div 1 Tour starting tomorrow (matches are 1200 daily).

Apologies but I probably won't be too active again this week. Hope to be a bit more active when the OD tours roll around.

Congrats to the Bug on getting the Nat Senior Gig.

Sure you'll give it everything you got.

Also a big thank you and well done has to be said to Lion for his service to UAE as a Nats Manager in the last tenure and also as an assistant to EB before that. I know how much effort and time Lion put into it all, so big thanks to him for that!

Yep, lion has done a great job, both with the NAT side and the community side of things. Appreciate your efforts.

Best of luck to PB on his upcoming two seasons. It's not an easy job, but I am sure you can live up to the expectations you have set for yourself :thumbsup

Hey all,

Thank you for the vote of confidence. No hard feelings towards lion, it was nothing against the current team, me running was purely me wanting the spot.

However we have a job to do, that starts now. Friendly slots are filled for the next two weeks. We're currently getting a gauge on the squad at hand.

Also, given there's no league reason bar NATs to use the UAE forums, I think it might be time to branch out beyond just 2 topics as well so there will be more of them created.

Go the UAE!
