The match in a tweet: That's a nice win for the USA!

Our best:
Amir Alam - 2/37 and 12 runs in a tough day out.

Home Bermuda

Date 10 Nov 21 08:00
Crowd 20,500
Weather Humid

UAE won the toss and elected to bowl.

Overall 256,927 251,948

Robert Harris (3 points), Henry Kennedy (2), Henry Garraway (1)

Bermuda won by 40 runs

The match in a tweet: Has anyone seen the UAE bowlers? Been missing for 48 hours.

Our best:
Liam Duggan - 51 off 50 balls. A sole hand in our batting performance that really struggled to get off it's feet.

Around the Ground:

India beat West Indies by 4 runs in a thriller. West Indies needed 21 off the last over and got 16.

USA beat Scotland by 13 runs. Scotland were 5 down with 2 overs left, needing 27 runs. But the Scottish lads had other plans and those plans didn't involve running well between the wickets. 5 wickets in 7 balls. ALL RUN OUTS.

Smacked by the hammer of God today.. Luckless format for us.

Home India
Away UAE
Ground Cliff Burton Memorial Oval
League Nat Twenty20 2
Date 11 Nov 21 08:00
Crowd 17,500
Weather Cloudy
Pitch Crumbling

India won the toss and elected to bat.

India UAE
Batting - Top Order 14,910 14,110
Batting - Middle Order 11,749 13,054
Batting - Tail 4,969 5,482
Bowling - Seam 14,814 (8) 13,929 (8)
Bowling - Spin 14,773 (12) 14,942 (12)
Fielding/Keeping 17,771 17,143
Overall 248,806 249,221

Godric Godhammer (3 points), Taj D'Argento (2), Kamal Qassem (1)

India won by 35 runs

The match in a tweet: THE GODHAMMER GOES SMACK! BIG 50!

Our best:
Kamal Qassem - 2/25 off the spinner's 4 overs and a catch.

Rais Armanjani - 2/28 off 4 overs for the spinner.

Hud Sam - The leggie managing 1/26 off his 4.

Despite having an early breakthrough take India to 1/8, the strength of Godhammer shone through and when he was dismissed India sat at 4/116. A mini collapse took them to 6/119 before the skipper settled it with a bit of farming and got them to a handy 143. It proved to be enough as none of our bats got going. The two Indian seamers doing the damage with 3 wickets each.

Around the Grounds:
Bermuda beat Scotland by 7 wickets.

USA beat West Indies by 39 runs.

Bermuda have secured their ticket to promotion.

The winner of USA vs India tomorrow will secure the second.

3rd place will come down to a NRR shootout between the loser of the USA/India game and the winner of our game against Scotland and West Indies should they snag an upset against Bermuda. Unfortunately our NRR is not great so would need a massive win to give us any chance.

Should West Indies lose to Bermuda, the winner of our game against Scotland will avoid the drop.

Let's get a big win! 0800 against Scotland tomorrow.

Date 12 Nov 21 08:00
Crowd 22,500
Weather Cloudy
Pitch Dry

UAE won the toss and elected to bowl.

Batting - Top Order 13,547 14,521

Bowling - Spin 14,737 (12) 14,290 (12)
Fielding/Keeping 17,129 17,224
Overall 247,401 254,160

Keith Gowans (3 points), Stewart Clouston (2), Amir Alam (1)

Scotland won by 32 runs

The match in a tweet: Wicket keepers who open the batting are hot.

Our best:
Amir Alam - 3/28 off four opens for the finger spinner.

Jaul Ghayth - 30 runs and a catch.

Three of our batsmen scored exactly 30 (Opener Salah, Ghayth and Ma'mun).

A 77 run second wicket partnership and a 35 from their 6th wicket in the final overs saw Scotland post 158. Thirties from Salah, Ghayth and Ma'mun not enough as Gowans run riot with 5 wickets.

Around the Grounds:
India beat USA by 35 runs.

West Indies beat Bermuda by 19 runs.

"Bermuda have secured their ticket to promotion."
Well this was wrong.

India and USA promote. Scotland and us drop down to Div 3.

Safe to say, it was a disappointing we will bounce back next time.

U20 T20 tour starts Monday at 1300 - tune in for that a Div 2 T20 tour.
