A good start for the Irish boys as they take a comprehensive win against India.

India started well the openers getting to 74 in 15 overs, wickets were falling but slowly, as they climbed to 156-4 after 35 overs and looking good. The spinners ( Mackenna and Agnew) then came on and to devasting effect taking the last 6 wickets in just 4 overs to leave India 165 all out.

A quick wicket down for the Irish but then the second wicket partnership (Carson and Slattery) dominated, though not scoring quickly kept to the RRR and they took the game to the end with a 157 partnership.

Top batter - Eugene Carson on 82 just beat teammate Donal Slattery on 78
Top Bowler - Joshua Agnew - 6 overs 3 wickets for nineteen (though the other 2 spinners both got 3 each)

MOM - Eugene Carson

:clap

On to next game against v South Africa

Thanks for the write up Morley! Very pleased with those spinners. We've Dry pitches for every game, so hopefully we'll see more of that from them
