I’m putty in your hands for training!
Good player. If you have a high level of academy then you could go for an a/r - fielding to reas then bowl tech (if tech is still average / below bowling). Once tech is above bowling, switch to a/r and fielding training on alternate weeks until fielding is reliable. Throw in the occasional bowl tech session too.

If your academy is average then just go bowler - same as above but bowling instead of a/r.

If you academy is at the lower end - definitely sell him (and possibly if average too!)

Good luck with him.

If your academy stays at that level I would imagine he is a shoe in!

There is no fielding here, we prefer to keep a minimum for rel fielding for u20.
If fielding is cap/rel keep working on batting training
if not bring it up to reliable and then stick to batting

We have some guidelines on the NAT blog for u20
17 year olds
Reasonable primary, reasonable technique and reasonable fielding
18 year olds
Capable to reliable primary and technique and capable fielding
19 year olds
Accomplished primary/technique and capable+ fielding
20 year olds
Expert primary/technique and reliable/accomplished fielding

I don't think the 17 year old is god enough for Nats but can still be a good player for you - continue training fielding and once you are at reasonable + 2 weeks of fielding training alternate batting and fielding

The 21 year old is a good player and currently o tour with the U20s. Gifted tech is a great talent for a keeper as tech trains slower than keeping or batting when training keep/bat. I would alternate batting and keep/bat until batting pops to outstanding then switch to keep/bat with a fielding net every month. Once keeping pops to spec, alternate keep/bat and batting until batting pops again. Make sure that fielding gets to at least outstanding when he is 25.

Good luck,

Dave

Sorry, missed this one earlier - I would make him a bowler. You could give him some a/r training to get his batting to reasonable or capable but given he is a fastie, that should be the priority IMO. Accumulator isn't such a great talent for a low order bat - BH and finisher are much better batting lower down.

My main team bombed with the first pull of the season but my affiliate got a good one - the first in a fair while. Gonna be an FM a/r. Shame about the talent and wasted wages on keeping (I already have a young keeper and keepers need gifted tech more than gifted keeping) but he will be a pretty good player:

Tricky. You want him to be an a/r due to his talent and that he is a med. However, endo is low and he has no training talent. I would put him on fielding and if endo and tech pops quickly you might be ok to go for an a/r.

However, my preference is to go straight bowler or straight bat with a preference for the former. Training fielding is fine for either to start of course. So get to ave or reasonable fielding and then decide
