He was quite a surprise! I have been pulling such unbelievably poor players for the past 15 weeks (almost all straight to the bin), that I had to check if I didn't click on another player by mistake. :)

16y0w | 28,260 rating | $1,288 wage (5% discount)
Right hand batsman | Right arm Fast

Talents Opener

Nationality USA

Form reasonable
Fatigue rested
Experience dreadful
Captaincy average

Skills Summary
Batsman average
Bowler dreadful
Keeper ordinary
Allrounder poor

Skills
Batting reasonable Endurance poor
Bowling dreadful Technique average
Keeping ordinary Power reasonable
Fielding average

So I used to play this game back in probably 2010-2012, when I had a reliable/reliable medium pacer in the USA national team. Seems like the game has both changed not at all and a lot since then!

Presumably I’m best off selling this guy? I’d love to keep him because I enjoy developing players most, but only 4 weeks back into playing my academy isn’t good enough to get him to anything that’s competitive anymore. What would be a reasonable reserve price?

He's going to be an amazing player, I reckon! I'm probably not the best person to give advice on what the transfer market is going to do and it can be very inconsistent. I'd start with a highish reserve. I'd like to think he'd go for 500k+ (maybe even a 1 million?) but people might be put off by the experience. The power is great though.

Looks good. Did you end up testing the transfer market? I'd buy him off you for my youth team if I had the cash, unfortunately I'm broke until season end.
