The previously kept image on the first post for the shield now throws a blank page so if anybody has a decent image of a shield with some sort of a FTP relation to add, please post it in the thread.

Apologies. The first match vs Cover point is league on Friday and the away one is the cup.

North Cunnett CC have become the 20th side to lose the shield in five days, and the 28th to lose it in less than a week of attaining it.

Cover point have won the shield for the second time and would certainly hope to better their previous duration of seven days.

The start of the defence couldn't be tougher for them though as they begin against the defending Matt Krevs Memorial Cup Champion Asterix & Obelix and will then go on to face, do they win, a holder of the shield from a couple seasons past in Cockatoos Cricket Club who held the shield for a duration of 35 days.

Oh I have a good chance to hold both the Pavilion shield and NZ community shield at the same time and keep the pavilion shield in NZ for the season since High Voltage is focused on the cup

Good luck mate, will be great to have you hold the shield, for the first time it seems! amsterdammer played Justice League Avengers in cup recently and had JLA won that fixture, I'd have had a chance at the shield (and won it), but that fixture didn't go my way.

The creator of the shield has finally laid his hands upon the shield himself as muff's Realism Ravens have beaten High Voltage. They have also confirmed that the shield will end this season inside New Zealand as all NZ Division 1.1 sides but High Voltage are out of the cup and Realism Ravens face High Voltage only after the cup ends.
