A Little Stats Update:
1. Fongos held the shield for 77 days, which puts them on the ninth spot in the list of teams having held the title for the longest time in a single defence span.
2. Stafford rangers reborn, I'm assuming are the second-birth of manager Eggy6198's Stafford Rangers which were the third team ever to hold the Shield back in '08.
I'll be trying to check and edit the upcoming defences games once a week or so, unless the shield transfers or so, in which case it might differ. I've been trying to edit an earlier post from when the previous exchange happened and a week or so is a time that my mind can remember to check haha.

League: match 5966277: Stafford rangers reborn vs Lounge Lizards- February 18, 2022.

1. Stafford rangers reborn have become the eighth side to lose the shield in the minimum possible time of retention, i.e. 2 days. They are the 25th side to lose the shield in less than a week of holding it.
2. Almost have won the shield for the second time after holding it for 37 days in September 2017.

It can now be said with all certainty that the shield is out of the MKMC and will end in Sri Lanka at the end of Season 50. An entire list of winners is also updated here.

The Matt Krevs Memorial Cup loss for Achmid's Soul sees the shield now move to Division 3 in India with Mighty Giants being only one of the two teams in their league to still be alive in the cup.
