Is any1 keeping track of the highest duration a manager has held his shield?

Was intrigued by this idea. Copied the winners onto a spreadsheet and figured out the longest was a 121 days by Liquifaction, holding the shield from December 3, 2015 to April 2, 2016. Link to the spreadsheet.

Also, for how much I love the shield and checking the winners as much, I really should be thanking Muff and DZ(I assume they don't play anymore) for their idea and the work they had put into it:)

I'm here but DZ isnt, Im just too lazy to do all the tracking anymore. It took us ages checking and cross checking. He would find a spot wrong with my list and id have to start back from that point again and vice versa.

The idea was inspired by the Ranfurly shield in NZ domestic rugby comps where you have to win the game at the holders home ground

Its nice being able to leave a personal mark on a game I have played for too long

I have been looking into the coding to see if we can get the list in game and updated automatically at the end of each game

I have seen you around the game, I was talking about DZ, who I now realised was GM-deltronzero when I was looking at the first few pages. I can only imagine how tough checking across 12-13 years could be... You've done some absolutely fantastic work though

Do you think if this gets automated, it'd be possible to figure stats out of the shield, like how long has it stayed in a particular country, or how many times has the shield gone to Division 2 because a side in Division 1 lost it in the mkmc? I'd really love to figure these things out, but I'm too lazy to get to doing it manually:)

Yep that'd be interesting. The side that has held the shield the longest might not actually be the one to defend most challenges given they might be out of mkmc earlier or the lack of home games.
