Afghanistan National U16s

Post by nae199 » Wed Sep 18, 2024 10:17 am

Hi all,

For those of you who have been kind enough to pull Afghan youth recruits who have made it into the National U20 squad, it would be helpful if you could let me know a couple of things regarding your players:

1) what level is your academy?
2) do you intend to play your youth recruit in youth T20/OD matches?
3) do you intend to sell your player?

All of the above is try and help me guage how players are likely to be developing over the next season or two. Honesty would be greatly appreciated; a player may start with high attributes, but if he is in a relatively poor academy and/or not playing, he is very unlikley to make the grade by the time he gets to 19+.

Thanks in advance for your support and assistance,

G'day Nae, I'll be happy to supply the info if needed.
Do you intend to come to the forum regularly or should communication be by in game message?
What sort of requirements are there to make the squad?
What type of recruit should I be seeking each week? General? Seam/spin? Keeper?
South Africa U19 Manager seasons 38-41
SA Senior Manager seasons 59-60

Hi mate,

Apologies for the slow reply, haven't been on the forum much of late.

To be honest, I think go for general recruits as I believe you get a better chance of a better player. At this stage I think just trying to get enough of the decent pulls playing their own youth team games to get experience is as beneficial as anything, a lot in the squad aren't playing regularly which is not too good.

Don't worry about sharing your info, I shouldn't have asked for it really.
