Post by GM-crowfan65 » Sat Jun 05, 2021 5:00 am

Will we see a new champ this season or will we see a previous winner pop up again?
Tune in on Sundays for the action

took a risk with team selection, including three youth players and an average summary senior "bowler". Had a bit of a scare, but thankfully came through with a 6 wicket victory.

Was I wrong in thinking the home team was based on which team had the highest NRR in the tournament?

I had a weaker opponent, I played a few younger players, and paid the price with a round 1 elimnation....

Ruff Royals Good Areas CC
Batting - Top Order 9,756 5,392
Batting - Middle Order 8,247 4,700
Batting - Tail 3,988 4,284
Bowling - Seam 10,156 (30) 7,304 (30)
Bowling - Spin 8,945 (20) 5,590 (20)
Fielding/Keeping 12,341 6,732
Overall 169,360 106,510

Ruff Royals won by 4 wickets

We were lucky to get away with that. We bowled terribly and they managed to get 192 on a sticky pitch in sunny weather. They reduced us to 16-4, 70-5, and 120-6 before my allrounder and a bowler put together a good partnership to get us the win.
