Always have a good final look before retiring them as they may be worth selling on the market. I normally retire my youth as the season progresses, meaning i play them as juniors up to the age of 20.14, I see no 20yr olds in your squad so i presume you have retired them already?

THe fact that this is even discussed is a flaw in the game for me. Such a "no mans land" for players from 20 to 25 or so. Never know what to do with them other than punt them.boscorp wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2023 9:28 pmAlways have a good final look before retiring them as they may be worth selling on the market. I don't think its like that at all really. For instance your fella just turning 25, Craven Moorehead. He has played 59 senior matches, more than 4 full seasons, and there is plenty more like him. Its true that not all juniors will play thru to seniors but that's more due to lack of skills. players in that age range normally find there way into various senior sides through the transfer market where they get further training and match experience, normally in lower divisions.rabbitohbill wrote: ↑Sun Nov 12, 2023 7:22 amTHe fact that this is even discussed is a flaw in the game for me. Re: Quick Questions V4
I've messaged you with my take on how to set my batsmen but i'm sure there are many other variations that work for some teams and not others. Theres a few Influencing factors such as experience, player variation in the lineup, pitch type, weather, bowling strength compared to your batsman and a decent amount of luck.

What's an acceptable starting level for a youth pull that's worth keeping?

Re: Quick Questions V4
My senior T20 team looks like being one of the bottom 2 this coming season. How much benefit would there be if I played most of my Youth squad in those games?
I'm thinking that they'd gain some extra experience - yes?
Would that also help improve their training?
Would it impact their fitness levels such that they'd be impacted for the Youth One Day games?
Thanks!

Re: Quick Questions V4
1. Yes they gain extra experience but if you don't hit the minimum MR for your division then you dont get the extra sponsorship available after each game
2. No effect on trng
3. yes fatigue could be an issue

Re: Quick Questions V4
In the rules it states:
Will a batsmen make more runs playing a fm with capl power or spect power, because the ball will be bowled less fast? Or has this difference in power only impact on the chance taking the occasional wicket like stated in the rules.
My question:Power combines the strength and explosiveness of a player. Fast, fast medium and medium bowlers with a high power skill are occasionally able to take a wicket by using their power skill to bowl a faster delivery that may surprise the batter.
