As per my view, it's match fixing

Every week throughout the MKMC there are results similar to this. Managing the fitness of players whilst competing in both regular club fixtures plus the Cup often (more times than most) results in a club often selecting a weaker side for the Cup matches they lose. This is often done to maintain their regular club side for their important League fixtures. Maintaining a good position in the normal leagues ensures your finances for next season and its a balancing act to see how far you can go in the Cup. I say good on Chezza.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but Chezz has done nothing against the rules here so carry on as it is.

I didn’t realise you were required to put your best team on the park every game Gan.

Based on that everyone (including you) have violated the rules at some point.

Personally thought it was a great game and the crowd were entertained :clap

Managers have been throwing cup games when their teams play each other for a while. I am not a fan, hence why we brought in min MR for league games. It is harder to do for cup games, so for now, it will remain as is

The only thing I can think of it to ensure that Main teams and Affiliates are always on opposing sides of the draw. Obviously that messes with seedings a bit but that way if a manager gets both teams into the final then that's good on their part and, in my opinion, doesn't affect other teams in the cup. Teams meeting earlier can affect fatigue for following rounds, i.e, completely throw with one team so take it easier with the other.

Agree with this 100% Would be an amazing effort to get both teams into a final so putting all main and affiliates on opposite sides of the draw makes the most sense.

What's actual fact ?

If Chesney Champions & The Chezz played with their strongest team. The Chezz might win. If The Chezz wins, he unable to compete with strong team like Wolfpack.

What’s a fact is if Gan built his team up instead of getting knocked out with a transfer market oldie team he might make a cup final one day.

Yes agree with you. But, you did smart move.

Pitch : Flat & Overcast

Played with your weakest team for affiliate & used spinners to bowl 48 overs.
Did form boost for your main good team by batted first.

Well clever.

But, Wolfpack deserve to MKMC title winner. Congrats

I’m happy if Wolfpack wins. He’s been bantering with me on here for years. I’ve had a good rivalry with his affiliate for a while as well.

My team are very good at losing cup finals, going for 4 in a row
