Great first weekend.
Let’s not talk about last week.
ex-SL u19 manager, winner T20 world cup, runner up 50 over world cup way back when.
More recently winner of an unacknowledged SOD 1.1 and T20 1.1 double :P

me too - didn't go that way.

Aussie here but I won't be too upset if New Zealand beat us. They've been a good side for a long time and still don't get nearly the respect they deserve. Winning championships in 2 out of the 3 formats, and being 1 run or a stupid rule away from the 3rd, would be just reward for the hard work.

That said, we've never won a T20 World Cup either and have generally struggled in the format, so winning one at last would be nice validation for us too. No matter who wins, it'll be a feel-good story. Hoping for a cracking game.

Interestingly enough main story in Australian press about Warner and possibility of assuming another leadership role .
