Bangladesh posts an impressive score of 170-6 - game over I think.

After a good start, we end up losing by 26 runs. Always likely a collapse would incur in such a hefty chase. We need a comprehensive victory vs South Africa tomorrow, I will need to think about how that can be most likely achieved.

what a collapse!! But the game was lost in the 1st innings. That score was impossible to chase.

At the halfway stage, our initially small chance of promotion remains very small but significant enough for me to watch the rest of the games with interest.

Having posted 133 on Crumbling (windy), we need to win comfortably, many aggressive bowling orders are in place to help facilitate this. However, there is a good chance these aggressive orders could backfire.

We ideally want Sri Lanka & Kenya to lose - however, narrow wins could be good enough, if we beat South Africa comprehensively, however, it is unlikely that a narrow Kenyan win would allow us to overturn a hefty NRR deficit.

Ahh well, it was not to be. 3 wins out of 5 is a solid effort. Disappointing the desired outcome of promotion was not achieved, that hammering against Sri Lanka, on the opening day proved pivotal. Onto the SOD, same pitches, hopefully, we can maintain or improve upon Zimbabwe's Division 2 status in order to start the next WC Qualification period in a good place.

I'm glad our win has significance. It would have been ironic if Fidock's missed fielding checks cost Kenya promotion.

Cheers fella,

With such a positive NRR, we must now aim for promotion in order to ensure the Zimbabwean supporters can keep 'jumping for joy'.

Thanks to a last-wicket partnership of 31, we are able to post a good score of 188. Let's hope the bowlers do the business.

Decent total on crumbling pitch. Hopefully our bowlers can do their job and get us the win.
