Under 20 One Day 3 Match 4 v Ireland
What a game....we bowled excellenty....all out for 152. Janties 5 wickets and Ballans with 3. A real chance now.
We had the game under control until we lost 7 wickets for just 28 runs. We best to get us home but came up short by 6 runs....really good effort.
We need to win the last game against Pakistan and hope results go for us elsewhere.

Just a quick update on the current U20 Twenty20
Match 1 was a close game against Bangladesh winning by 2 wickets on a Green pitch. Everyone pulled their weight and we scraped home against a team that will take points off other teams. Muzadzi and Malusi both taking 2 wickets.
Match 2. An excellent win by 9 wickets against Pakistan on another Green pitch.
Bowling our opponents out for 102 with Phanigso taking 6 for 12 and Schoof 3 for 15, then thanks to an unbeaten 82 run partnership between Maku (61) and Dikgacoi (31) who also took 3 catches we coasted home.
A big match tomorrow against the hosts Kenya on a slow pitch will be a difficult challenge but a win will give us a 6 point buffer from the 3rd place team so this could make or break our tour. No pressure.

Match 3...Another great win against Kenya today on a dry pitch saw us go 4 points clear in the league.
Our batsmen stood up well to the Kenyan bowlers with Dzingai and Maku posting an opening partnership of 52, then Dzingai (75) teamed up with Palmer (43) for an unbeaten 89 partnership. Setting Kenya a healthy 165 to win.. Our bowlers restricted them to 149 with help from some great fielding.
A win tomorrow against Bermuda will mean we are guaranteed promotion finally after too many close calls.

Match 4. Bermuda on a dry pitch. Another win wow. We are definately promoted and as winners probably although it is mathematically possible to finish 2nd if we have a total disaster tomorrow.
A great bowling display restricted Bermuda to 128. Dzingai and Dikgacoi put on an opening stand of 85 which sealed the match although needing just 2 runs for the win de Gersigny went for the glory shot hitting a six to win....no need really but one for the cameras.
Great effort by the whole squad....

Interesting to see Nqxetbwane miss out on the next tour while a guy with 1k less wages as well as lower experience make it.

Hi Chepu
Please.....you know better than this....the guy I picked was a better keeper. It was close, your player had played in the previous tour. It was heads or tails, there were plus's and minus's for a lot of selections and other managers could be asking the the same question about their batsmen.
Why not just ask me rather than post it in forums??????
Cheers Andy

Another Tour and mixed fortunes already.
A crushing defeat by Ireland. It wasnt the defeat that shock us it was by how many runs, which has wrecked our NRR already.

However 2 good wins against England and UAE have given ourselves a chance of 2nd place if everything goes to plan

Another great win today against Pakistan means that it is a straight head to head tomorrow against India to see who finishes 2nd. We rested a couple of players today with this match in mind so hopefully our plan pays off.

Montini only played 2 games
at least he finished 7th on the top run charts, was a great century in game 4!!
Hard luck mate, tough to lose it on the final game.
