Out of curiosity, how many people have applied for the assistant gig? Must've gotten one from someone half-decent by now.

Please treat me kindly. Failing that, I don't mind the personal abuse. :ninja

GM-deltronzero wrote:Hi All,

There have been some changes at the managers table. The previous assistants of werdo and plabon have been removed and cynic has replaced them.

I've been on the hunt for a manager that is a supporter of Bangladesh and has a real interest in running for the next senior election and cynic put his hand up. He has a wealth of experience as an assistant at national level with a host of countries and will no doubt be an asset to the Bangladesh senior side. Don't let his pessimistic demeanour fool you, he knows a thing or two about the game.

I'd like to thank both werdo and plabon for their time over the past 3 seasons. Both offered something different which helped me get the best out of the bunch of players we have both now and in the past couple of seasons.

At this stage, the plan is for cynic to take control of the orders for the upcoming tour of England, with the squad being picked by myself in consultation with him. He will be taking over all of the friendly games and will take on a more hands on approach to get himself known before the election.

Speaking of the English tour, the squad needs to be picked this weekend and the pitches they have selected are Uneven, Green and Hard.

Stay tuned for more announcements and if you have any queries, feel free to contact either myself or cynic.
Ques 01: Why not you picked the candidate from your assistants who were with you for long time? Don't you think 3 seasons of assistant job is not good enough!!
Ques 02: Looks like there will be no senior Nat election for Bangladesh side  What do you think about this just like to know!

I don't expect to get anywhere close to winning the next election anyway, and my campaign will finally consist of more than a stupid campaign speech and little else.

In other news ...

Bangladesh Australia
Batting - Top Order: 9,458 13,032
Batting - Middle Order: 9,875 10,077
Batting - Tail: 4,303 4,872
Bowling - Seam: 10,597 (8) 11,788 (6)
Bowling - Spin: 10,946 (2) 12,672 (4)
Fielding/Keeping: 12,207 12,575
Overall: 180,190 205,486

Typical loss. My selection stuff-up didn't affect the result in any way, considering what we ended up chasing.
