1st game vs UAE on a Crumbling pitch with Windy conditions expected.

UAE won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Bangladesh started well with the bat, as most of the top and middle-order batsmen made valuable contributions. A.Khan scored 37 off 64 balls, M.Aziz added 38 off 55 balls, and S.Mukund chipped in with 49 off 67 balls. Despite some late wickets, Bangladesh managed to post a respectable total of 213/7 in their 50 overs.

UAE started their chase briskly but struggled to maintain momentum as the game progressed, losing wickets regularly. W.Mohammed stood out with a resilient 67 off 97 balls, but he found little support from the other end. V.Badhani (3/24) and M.Mashud (4/31) were instrumental in dismantling the UAE batting lineup, resulting in UAE being bowled out for 152 in 42.1 overs, falling short by 61 runs.

MOTM: W.Mohammed 67 (97)

2nd game vs Canada on a Crumbling pitch with Sunny conditions expected.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first.

Bangladesh had a solid start with the bat, with the top order contributing significantly once again, F.Khan 44 (51) played a vital role at the top. M.Aziz 86 (97) and M.Hassan 46 (58) put together a crucial 100-run partnership for the 4th wicket, helping Bangladesh to post a competitive total of 239/7 off 50 overs despite a few wickets falling towards the end.

Canada had a slower start and lost two early wickets due to the impressive bowling of fast bowler S.Dhoni (3/45). However, K.Galindo 55 (76) and D.Henson 46 (51) led the recovery, with Henson providing much-needed acceleration. Once they were dismissed, Bangladesh took control of the game again. M.Ashraful (4/40) played a key role in removing several batsmen as Canada were bowled out for 191 in 46.1 overs. Bangladesh secured a 48 run victory.

3rd game vs India on a Slow pitch with Cloudy conditions expected.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first.

Bangladesh had a strong start with the bat as the openers laid a solid foundation. F.Khan 38 (65) & A.Khan 25 (32) provided a steady start. Captain I.Zobair 77 (87) & S.Mukund 70 (80) put on a crucial 100+ run partnership for the 3rd wicket, setting up Bangladesh for an exciting finish. M.Shazada added a quickfire 35 (30), helping Bangladesh post a competitive total of 264/5 off 50 overs. G. Maniya was the pick of the Indian bowlers, taking 3/44.

India, despite losing an early wicket, matched Bangladesh toe-to-toe for most of the game. Opener S.Choudhari 62 (89) & R.Priyavardhan 98 (110) put on a 100+ run partnership for the 2nd wicket, keeping India in the hunt. However, the dismissal of Priyavardhan in the 43rd over turned the tide slightly in Bangladesh's favor. E.Gupta (6/39) came to the fore, wrapping up the proceedings with a brilliant spell, including a 3 wicket maiden in the 48th over. India managed to post 251/9 in their 50 overs, falling short by 13 runs.

Table toppers Australia and Bangladesh face off in the 4th game, both entering undefeated with a perfect 3-0 record. This crucial fixture will see the winner placing one hand on the title.

4th game vs Australia on a Slow pitch with Cloudy conditions expected.

Australia won the toss and elected to bat first.

Australia started the game strongly with C.Lawn and C.Foletta adding a crucial 100+ run partnership for the 2nd wicket, capitalising on some shoddy fielding from Bangladesh as both batsmen were dropped early. Lawn scored a solid 88 (103), while Foletta contributed 75 (91). This foundation was followed by B.Zemo 34* (31) & K.Buderus 45* (30), who finished things off strongly for Australia, leading them to a total of 288/4 off 50 overs.

Bangladesh had a decent start, reaching 40 runs without loss. However, Australia’s bowling attack soon took control, dismantling the Bangladesh lineup. M.Aziz was the only notable contributor with 45 (70). The rest of the Bangladesh batsmen struggled to handle the Australian bowlers, leading to a collapse as they were bowled out for 120 in 41.1 overs. P.Redmond was particularly effective, taking 4/18 in his 10 overs. Australia won the match convincingly by 168 runs.

Final game vs Bermuda on a Dry pitch with Cloudy conditions expected.

Bermuda won the toss and elected to bat first.

Bermuda lost both openers early to the opening quicks. Captain R.Perry 58 (101) and K.Griffith 90 (114) then consolidated, putting on a crucial 100+ run partnership for the 3rd wicket. This foundation was further strengthened by Griffith and C.Boyack 60 (53), who added another 100+ run partnership for the 4th wicket. Bermuda ended their innings on 233/5 off 50 overs.

Bangladesh had a fast paced start, a trend that continued throughout their innings. Despite losing wickets throughout, contributions from A.Khan 31 (31), F.Khan 20 (38) & I.Mamun 45 (63) kept them on track. The standout performance came from M.Aziz, who scored an unbeaten 84 (87), guiding Bangladesh to victory. Bangladesh chased down the target, finishing on 237/6 in 45.3 overs, winning the match by 4 wickets.

Post Tour Review:
Bangladesh had an excellent tour, securing wins in 4 out of 5 matches, putting us in a strong position early on for a WC spot. We achieved wins against UAE, Canada, India & Bermuda, showcasing strong performances both with the bat and ball. Notable performances included M.Aziz's 86 against Canada and an unbeaten 84 against Bermuda, along with E.Gupta's exceptional 6-wicket haul against India. Our only defeat came at the hands of Australia, where we faced a heavy loss, but overall the tour was highly successful.

Looking ahead, 7 players from the current Tour will promote to seniors before the next tour. 2/3rds of the current 30 man squad are ineligible for the EOS T20 WC, indicating significant transitions ahead. This will inevitably weaken the team, with the main concern being the wicketkeeping options moving forward.

1st game vs Netherlands on a Hard pitch with Humid conditions expected.

Netherlands won the toss and elected to bat first.

Netherlands struggled to build momentum as Bangladesh’s bowlers took regular wickets, ensuring no Dutch batsman could settle. Seamers D.Key and S.Dhoni were particularly effective, with A.Jaffer being the standout performer with 3 wickets for 20 runs, restricting the Netherlands to 130/6 in their 20 overs.

In reply, Bangladesh had a shaky start, losing both openers, M.Aziz and A.Khan, with just 3 runs on the board. However, M.Rana 61* (56) and captain I.Zobair 67* (52) steadied the ship with an unbeaten 128-run partnership. Their composed approach saw Bangladesh chase down the target comfortably in 18.5 overs, finishing on 131/2, winning the match by 8 wickets.
