Whilst some of the history is gone, the memory never fades.

In New Zealand it was in Div 2 in Seasons 25 and 26. So it's definitely possible. Just seems like our Div 1 teams are better
Remeber there are friendlies too, you can challenge the current holder to earn it that way.
Only if they choose to accept it.
Which may be the problem camel raised because I'm too lazy to read that thread.

That being said, ending up in Div 1 and staying there would have happened within three seasons anyway I guess.
