14 overs of spin for no wickets so far - I'm starting to think spinners might be a waste of time.

Completely forgot I was doing that tonight.

Will get bowled out for less than 220. Chased within 45 overs.

Goondiwindi Epic Fail
Batting - Top Order 13,572 11,037
Batting - Middle Order 12,828 10,562
Batting - Tail 5,690 6,088
Bowling - Seam 14,487 (20) 10,835 (30)
Bowling - Spin 13,843 (30) 12,626 (20)
Fielding/Keeping 16,055 13,712
Overall 241,338 203,554

Managed to get up for a 5 wicket win, to at least chalk up 1 successful defense. Incidentally, those are our highest ever ratings.

Got completely monstered by 6 wickets and was never in the game. Terrible batting display.

Congrats Torps, and good luck holding on to the shield longer than I did.

I'd say once every new holder. Which is why I left Reff alone after my loss.

We've had 72 wins as challenger in the almost 25 seasons, that translates to ~3 holders a season. Say that bumped to 4 now friendlies are included, still reckon it's better to say one friendly challenge per season, will make people be more strategic if they want to try and take it.
I'll just wait until some lucky dreg in my Division 4 league wins it, then ...
