indeed and a 62 run win over India in game 2 shows we're on the right track.
Pitigala (rfm) and Lokuge (rfs) with 3 wickets each against India after we managed to bat out 50 overs on crumbling/humid with N. Irfahan scoring 77.

debutant A. Dalpathado (rfs) took 3 wickets in game 1 with all bowlers striking after R. Kuruppuarachchi scored 75 runs.

On to game 3 on slow/cloudy vs West Indies.
A day for our medium pacers to shine?

3 in a row and top of the table after a 45 run win over West Indies in game 3.
a 60 from Jindasa and 40s from seam specialist Gangema and finisher Sumanaskera (all on their first tour) put us in a good position. Our (fast) medium pace trio of Matthews, Ediriweera and Pitigala did the rest.

and now for something completely different: crumbling/windy vs New Zealand. Its spinner time!

Narrow loss to New Zealand in game 4 but we’re still top of the pile. A win in game 5 vs England would likely see us top but it’s a tough task.

Batting first we just posted 290/4.
On uneven/windy with day 5 fatigue that’s a very good total.

T20 tour off to a good start with victory over the USA by 18 runs.
Massive ratings of 274,679 as the new form calculation kicks in.

We got a bit screwed over with the fixtures getting the 3rd most likely pitch 3 times in a row all with the same weather.
crumbling/hot x 3 with only 3 spinners!

game 2 won with just 2 spinners.
Now the choice for game 3 is whether to go with just one spinner or make someone play through 3 hot weather matches in a row.

Its gone a bit quiet here but we did reasonably well on the last tour finishing 3rd and now ranking as the no.3 team in SOD internationals.
That brings expectations for the world cup and we hope to deliver on those.

without giving away to much to the opposition, here's the game-by-game schedule and what to expect:

game 1: Bangladesh green/sunny: likely going with some medium bowlers
game 2: Netherlands slow/sunny: again our mediums and some spinners
game 3: Australia sticky/? : first of the big hitters, need strike bowlers so keep ws and fast bowlers fit
game 4: England dry/?: all our spinners, likely the medium bowlers/allrounders
game 5: Zimbabwe flat/?: whoever is fit but looking to have the fast bowlers

as you can see a good spread of pitches but with AUS/ENG back-to-back in games 3 and 4 we really need to bank some wins against Bangladesh (no. 11) and Netherlands (no. 6) in games 1 and 2.
