The five day tour saw the Windies side pull off three consecutive wins to start the tour, which took away demotion worries. The final two fixtures unfortunately saw West Indies lose two humdingers as the Irish and the Aussies pulled off final over chases, with just one and two wickets apiece spared.
Amongst the bats, Michael Allflatt added to his repertoire with his second century and first fifty in just six games finishing as the most successful Windies bat. Young gun Zahir ad-din Tughtikin also impressed with seven wickets, putting a fine display of potentially leading this attack in the seasons to come.
Up next would be a Division 3 Twenty-20 Tour, which after a disappointing failure to qualify for the T20 World Cup this season, implies that the Windies will be heading in desperate into the new cycle.

Kelly managed 27 runs off 26 balls. M. Kudavidanage added a brisk 23 off 17 balls. However, consistent breakthroughs from the West Indies bowlers kept Sri Lanka from building any substantial partnerships.

Despite the initial setbacks with M. Francis and captain V. Richards falling cheaply to K. Vyress, our batsmen displayed remarkable tenacity. Lakka Teepee played a crucial innings, scoring 59 off 47 balls, providing the stability needed at the top. His efforts were well complemented by T. Hoad's 27 off 23 balls and a vital 43 off 27 balls from Ronald Roberts, which significantly accelerated our scoring rate in the middle overs. W. Lewis's unbeaten 17 off 10 balls and P. Biley's 12 off 9 balls further bolstered our total to a competitive 162 for 5.

Today's match against Bermuda was a challenging encounter that tested our mettle. We won the toss and elected to bowl first, aiming to capitalize on our strong bowling lineup. Dinanath Challenger led our attack brilliantly, taking three crucial wickets and keeping the opposition under pressure. He was well-supported by Zahir ad-Din Tughtikin, who claimed two wickets. However, Bermuda's batting, particularly A. Boy's 50 off 33 balls and J. Finlayson's aggressive 36 not out off 19 balls, propelled them to a formidable total of 183 for 6 in their 20 overs.
Chasing 184, our innings started with promise but soon encountered setbacks. G. John provided a solid start with 33 off 21 balls, but quick wickets followed, disrupting our momentum. Despite the early losses, Ronald Roberts played a magnificent innings, remaining unbeaten with 70 off 45 balls, displaying superb skill and determination. Unfortunately, he lacked sufficient support from the rest of the batting order, with key players like G. Maris and L. Teepee falling cheaply.

West Indies NAT Update
We finished the Twenty-20 tour with three wins and two losses. This unfortunately left us stranded on the third spot for the second consecutive Twenty-20 tour and will probably knock us out of another Twenty-20 World Cup next term.
This was followed by the One Day Tour. Debuts were handed to Najm ad-Din Ilghazi, Ralston Valentine and Michael Ramatali.
We finished with four wins and have promoted to Division 1 for next season. This implies that we shall begin the new World Cup Qualification Cycle in good stead. George Maris with the bat was a highlight, and so was Ernest Fraser, who picked three four-wicket hauls and showcased exemplary skill with the older ball in some high scoring affairs. Zahir ad-Din Tughtikin also impressed with 8 wickets and very economical returns in conditions averse to his bowling.
Up next, would be the 50-over World Cup. We share a group with India, Bangladesh, South Africa, UAE and Ireland. The fixtures will be out in a week and the World Cup shall occur during the off season. West Indies fell at the final hurdle and lost the finals of the previous iteration and the onus on the current batch of lads to better that performance will be there.
The West Indies Senior International Ground, named the Caterham Crusaders Arena for their Division One SOD victory in the season gone by will see renaming of its ends. Exiles End and Tobago Saucers End have been awarded the honours for their impressive Matt Krevs Memorial Cup runs.

Tour Summary
It was a rather disappointing tour. We had a dominant display against the Aussies in what had become a dead rubber for us to end the tour but three consecutive losses on the trot where we failed to come to the party with bat and ball was a bit disappointing.
i'll simply highlight some promising performances. Aaron Gabriel's fifer in game one against the UAE won us a game that we were losing by a mile. Junior Wight managed to threaten and pick up wickets with admirable consistency and so did Zahir ad-din Tughtikin. Michael Allflatt scored a splendid ton in the chase in the final fixture, whilst George Maris contributed with a few forties but failed to convert his starts.
We'll be playing in Division 2 in the final tour of the season.
We are also hosting the Twenty-20 tour in a couple weeks.

It was a rather disappointing tour. We had a dominant display against the Aussies in what had become a dead rubber for us to end the tour but three consecutive losses on the trot where we failed to come to the party with bat and ball was a bit disappointing.
i'll simply highlight some promising performances. Aaron Gabriel's fifer in game one against the UAE won us a game that we were losing by a mile. Junior Wight managed to threaten and pick up wickets with admirable consistency and so did Zahir ad-din Tughtikin. Michael Allflatt scored a splendid ton in the chase in the final fixture, whilst George Maris contributed with a few forties but failed to convert his starts.
We'll be playing in Division 2 in the final tour of the season.
We are also hosting the Twenty-20 tour in a couple weeks.
