Thanks for re-electing me. We had a rough finish to last seasons final tour, after promoting in T20 we went on to the OD tour and won 3 games earning enough points to promote but missed out on NRR in a very competitive tour.
We have a top season of cricket lined up for the SA fans this season. First up is the ODdiv3 tour competing against 5 of the worlds best sides including current World Champions Sri Lanka. A promotion in this tour is our goal and then it's on to the T20. I have good confidence in our current squad and look forward to some great results and great ratings this season.
Again, If you would like to be involved, please get in touch. Whether its long term or short term any involvement is welcome. As part of our preparations this season we have had former Irish manager CoachKnapovic on board as a temporary Honorary South African assistant to review our squad and motivate our players in some friendly matches before the tours start.
First tour starts Oct 27.

First tour is completed and we got our promotion to div2. It was an exciting tour with good performances from both batting and bowling. We also managed to break the record for highest innings total scoring a massive 428 runs in an innings. 4 wins, 1 loss and we finished in first place.
T20 tour is next. Thank you everyone for your contributions to our success.

Well the season is well underway with the T20 touring squad to be announced tomorrow. Hard, flat and uneven are the expected pitches with the matches to be played in the UAE.
Our season started straight after the elections with International manager CoachKnapovic invited to asses our squad for this season in exchange for some friendly matches. We got a wonderful report and he enjoyed some success in his matches. Negotiations are currently underway with one of the worlds leading managers for a temporary assistant role for a similar contract as we begin preparations for the S64 T20 World Cup.
So far this season our players have played to expectations, hanajack has fine tuned his match tactics promoting in the last tour with 4 wins. I have a lot of confidence in our success this next tour. Come along and join in on the excitement of watching the matches live.

It wasn't a successful tour in terms of wins but we achieved our objectives of qualifying for the WC and developing future match winners. We had a decent mixture of personal performances and team efforts.
We are now going into the final OD tour of the season and the touring squad has been locked in. First 3 matches will be played on Hard wickets and the final 2 will be uneven. 3 fast, 5 fast medium and 2 finger spinners have been selected including 4 allrounders for a tour that promises good opportunities for the seam bowlers and some decent scores for the batsmen.
