i have an excellent accademy and pull sth africans each week. I try to avoid the tfrs and concentrate on homegrown for my sides. i've been playing a few seasons now and recently taken an interest in the national youth squad. So my question is... what sort of player should i be scouting and training? Batsmen, bowler, random? and train technique, fielding or primary? past seasons ive heard of different standards like high fielding, all-rounders and this season 7 or 8 wkeepers.
should i be aiming to get players in the national side or for my own sides?

Thanks, i'll keep trying.
My big concern at the moment is the South African U19 squad being sabotaged. I tried asking the manager but got no response. 7 or 8 wicket keepers is one thing, opening with an old ball player, 3 fast bowlers and 0 spinners on a slow wicket plus lots more. after the effort last season this is beyond a joke.

your right in what you say. There is an obvious irish taint to the management this tour. one might say we had bad luck..and snigger. We paid the penalty in the first couple of games using the wrong bowlers, were possibly unlucky to lose to australia in a close match but were incredibly lucky to win the next despite not changing the team at all. unfortunately we are destined to lose the remaining game due to fitness regardless of how hard we try. Sad to see such a poor effort and no communication as yet.

The poor ratings definately doesn't help. the main influence i believe has been player selection, not enough rotation and too many good players were not fit enough to perform well. just look at the ratings when we used the same side in consecutive games. we used too much pace on the spin wickets and none when it did suit. There are better players entitled to be in the squad and we should have finished in the top 4.
