We got off to a good start in the T20 with a first up win and despite a couple of losses following that we stand a good chance of a win against Scotland. I'm surprised that Norton with his reliable form hasn't made an appearance yet despite being a wristie.
All the best for the remainder of the tour Devi.

However due to lack of communication with the Senior Manager Of SA U20 I am not able to know about South Africa U20 team selection for tours and etc and there is no use of my presence i have relieved from my position.
Anyways good luck to all who have been supporting South Africa cricket.

That is so typical, Its really bad management from a seasoned manager but a common complaint after elections. His speech was standard, I'll communicate with supporters in the forum, welcome assistants, win tours blah blah blah. Next thing theres no assistants, no communication, supporters lose interest, we lose easy matches and it becomes a one man show for his reputation instead of SA.
I'm sorry to hear this Devi. Hopefully you can be an assistant in another country to get some better experience and then come back to replace him.

Commiserations to the squad for a lackluster performance this season. 3 wins from 10 in YOD and 1 in 5 for the YT20.
Bright side is all wins were against better rated opponents. Down side is we lost the matches we rated best in and lost our position in div2 and now in div3 for both formats.
Good luck in the YT20 World Cup.
Would be great to see a recruiting drive or something even anything from the management.

Disappointingly I've received no response from the U20 management regarding any recruitment drives.
SA recruit numbers aren't the worst of the lot but we were below the average this season overall and well behind some of leading countries.
If anyone else is interested in getting involved with me to help bring a bit more competitiveness to SA players and improve community involvement please reply here or message my club.
I think with a bit of involvement within the SA community from a few mangers that we can turn things around and regain our strong standing in player development.
All managers are welcome as i am sure there are others around with some ideas.

How well does he compare to other players in your squad? He has a bit more experience than a few others in your squad. I'd start off training fielding first and train it through the rest of this season. He has good technique and could end up a good top order batsman for your side.

For his age, he is the best almost.
He will play with the senior T20s until the end of the season.
Ok to train him in fielding until the end of the season too.
Thanks for the advice.

For your youth tournament, if there is a place for my Ghana team, I would like to participate.

Thanks.
