rated #1 in the one dayers, #5 in the T20's as a league, but i wonder if the T20 ratings have some effect of the fact that Deep Points were rating 200k-odd last season still.

but, geez we're in for a nightmarish time again, good luck lads, may all your cup runs go to the semis and finals and may all your players get national debuts!

edit: and yes good luck to those not in my leagues as well, a bit self-obsessed here :p

South Africa Is growing again as more clubs come here for some stiff competition. With 94 active managers we are close to passing the 100 mark. Currently the same size as New Zealand also with 94 and half the size of England who has 188 managers.
Enjoy the season.

I think it's fair to say I'm having an absolute nightmare. Can't buy a win, and one of my closer results ( ie today) I forgot to set orders

Gonna need a miracle to stay up now

Part of it is because I can no longer spend much time on the game. I don't particularly want to stop playing as it's been a part of my life for so bloody long, and I do want to complete my own personal challenge of the 3 biggest OD 1.1 titles. Will make a decision at the end of the season one way or another ( and whether I'm still in 1.1 won't have any bearing on it as it took until my 2nd stint in Australia to get that title)

It definitely gets like that. Something about FTP always draws you back in.

Your lads had the best opportunity last season and then randomly started throwing in the towel. Your side still has plenty to give - it would be great to see you stick around in any capacity.

Oh I know I should have won it last year, not a clue what happened. The only thing I actually did was strengthen the batting

My best mate has been playing this game for years as well ( all my fault) so I can't see me leaving tbh, just getting frustrated!

As far as ratings go this season it is turned into a very competitive league. There's no easy games.

unfortunately my oldies have decided that they are only playing for 40 overs a game, even in the one dayers. not helping me that.

Congrats on beating me in last weeks double. These old fellas are a pretty fickle bunch. Last nights man of the match is/was my oldest player at 32, He didn't put in his best bowling performances until in his 30's after his skills started to fade. His experience keeps his summary high but he is now too unreliable. It'd be nice if their primaries didn't drop so fast. I'd much rather fatigue plummet leaving them useful still at 35 but only good for playing 5 or 6 matches a season.

cheers mate, both requisite wins for fairly different reasons. happy to level the doubles after losing both games on the first go.

30-33 yos still go alright, especially if they were beasts on skills prior to 30. most of my squad's that. as fatigue stands, most players older than 31 cannot afford playing 2 in a row every week, with ar's, keepers, captains being fairly limited to one a week for me.

I hope everyone has enjoyed the season. Its been a bit of a struggle for me trying to get some consistency within the squad. Fortunately its a top4 finish for me in all 4 competitions this season. Anyone changing locations for next season?
