Semi Final Saturday Matches

The Multan Sultans/Karachi Kings Clash started Saturday with a whirlwind of matches starting before midnight (FTP TIME) (Platinum, Diamond, Silver all played early Saturday).

Heppa took the Platinum Fixture with a dominant 47 runs (MS 1 - KK 0).

Amsterdammer had a comfortable 86 run win in the Diamond Clash to make it 1-1.

MUK CC had a 98 run domination to take the Silver fixture and make it 2-1 in MS' favour.

Gold and YOD 1 match are both yet to come on Saturday. The other two fixtures are Sunday.

Master Blasters win the Gold Fixture making it 2-2.

Riddlers dominates the YOD 1 fixture with a 200+ run lead and KK go to 3-2 up.

Two fixtures remain tomorrow and I believe KK need to win both to get the 5-2 win. A 4-3 result would see it a 4-4 draw (with MS proceeding to the final) due to MS finishing first in the group stage.

Faisalabad Falcons took a 2-1 lead into Saturday against Quetta Gladiators.

Al Khobar Falcons took the Gold Fixture by 4 wickets to make it 2-2.

Dreamers grab a 66 run win and the YOD 2 fixture to make it 3-2 QGs way.

It's a 4-2 and Quetta reached the finale

DEVIs win makes it 5-2 for Quetta Gladiators and they march onto the final.

Congratulations to all managers and commiserations to the Falcons who have been competitive all tournament.

2 matches to go in the other fixture and KK need to win both of them to grab the 5-2 upset win like QG did. Anything less will see the Sultans swing their way to the final.

Final - Wednesday Matches

Gold - Won by Al Khobar Falcons (Quetta Gladiators)
55 runs from Ghous Pasha and 5 wickets for Rasool saw AK Falcons snag a 31 run win.

Silver - Won by Baahubali (Quetta Gladiators)
Baahubali batted first, batted big and won big.
Centuries to Kaiser Saleh and Captain Archie Garratt gave a large platform and Mcbean was able to rip through and grab a 161 run win.

YOD 1 - Won by Riddlers (Karachi Kings)
Riddlers proved why they have been one of the form YOD 1 teams in the tournament and a significant match rating advantage was turned into a 5 wicket win.
Interestingly man of the match was from the losing side with Beatty bowling his heart out (2/16 off 8 overs) but not getting the result for his club.

QG take a 2-1 lead into Saturday.

Sherlocked 12 Vs United XI
Overcast Slow
Last time out United XI overcome a 6k match rating difference to get the upset and win by 76 runs.
As far as I can tell no players have aged up since that match.

Sherlocked12 won by 1 wicket but sadly rate over the ceiling (just).

The fixture tied at 2-2 going into Sunday.

This may well have been the best match of the Tournament.
Sofa King lose two wickets in their opening over. 4/19 after 5 overs.
Solid mid order batting sees them set a 250 target.
5 wicket hauls for two Stunning Stars (arap Kamama and Nisbet).
Stunning Stars lose a wicket first ball.
128 run partnership sees them back in front of the run rate. Wicket just before drinks.
42 runs from 10 overs. 5 wickets in hand.
Bang, bang, bang, bang 4 wickets lost in 3 overs.
Last wicket partnership, 26 runs from 7 overs.
They get the runs with an over and a half to spare.

Baffling Bulls v amsterdammer

Last time these teams met it was a last wicket thriller with amsterdammer holding on just.
Amsterdammer have changed their squad a little since that fixture with wicket keeper Malcom Henry leaving the club and batsman Tristan Zaharakis retiring.

Baffling Bulls set 174 runs and then defended nicely to win by 11 runs.
