Played UAE U20 in Hard/Hot conditions where we won the toss and batted first.

Our top order made a wonderful start, with keeper Gulraiz Afridi leading the way by scoring a wonderful 113 from just 120 balls. The top order set us up well for a good finish, but our middle and lower orders failed to provide us that along with some disciplined death bowling by the Emiratis contained us to 298/9.

UAE U20 top order also batted well just like ours and they were able to easily chase the target down while losing just 4 wickets. Amjad Anjum was the only bowler to concede less than 6 RPO but he went wicketless. The 4 wickets were grabbed by each of our seamers.

Gulraiz Afridi is the Player of the Day for his fantastic century and 3 catches.

Up next is Netherlands U20 in Uneven/Sunny in a must-win game for us to try and avoid relegation.

Played Netherlands U20 in Uneven/Sunny conditions.

Won the toss and elected to bat first. Batters made a slow but steady start and middle order picked things up, resulting in us getting 267/5. Highlight was Akif Jabbar scoring an unbeaten 121 from just 116 balls. He was well supported by opener Sajid Chandio who scored 46 and finisher Aleem Shanullah who scored a quick 41 from 27 balls.

Unfortunately their batters seemed to have taken notes from ours, as they also made good start to the chase and also kept up with the RR. Our bowlers were not able to make any serious inroads and we lost by 6 wickets which also confirmed our relegation.

Akif Jabbar is the Player of the Day for his unbeaten century.

In another disappointing tour, we have now relegated and will now look to bounce back next tour. (Assuming I get re-elected)

We finish the tour against Kenya U20 in the same conditions and hope to conclude with a win.

Final match vs Kenya U20 in Uneven/Sunny conditions.

Lost the toss and Kenya U20 batted first. Their top order provided them a solid start and their middle order looked set to build on it and provide them a good finish, but our bowlers rallied back at the death and got their last 5 wickets for just 7 runs, resulting in them going from 238/5 to 245 all out. Armaghan Riaz was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets, and honorable mention for LFS Amjad Anjum who was the most economical bowler in the match with figures of 10-1-31-2.

Once again our openers provided us a solid start in the chase with a first wicket 76 run partnership. A slight wobble followed but yesterday's centurion Akif Jabbar helped us consolidate along with Fawad Afridi and both batters got us home with 6 wickets to spare. Fawad Afridi top scored with 78 not out and Akif Jabbar was unbeaten on 58.

Our only win in this tour and we relegate along with Kenya U20.
This tour was disappointing for us yes, but there were some positives for us and things could have been different with just a little bit of luck as we were close in most games.

Hello everyone,

Thank you for re-electing me for another term.

I have decided to take a fresh approach in regards to the management, therefore I am looking for up to 3 new assistants.

Responsibilities will be as follows:
1: Scouting 19 year olds
2: Scouting 18 year olds
3: Scouting 17 year olds

You can maintain and keep updating your list of scouted players in the Association forum which I will add you to if you are not already a part of it.

All assistants will also be setting orders for friendly matches on a rotational basis and contributing to discussions on squad selections and tactics for tour matches.
Assistants will be required to be active on the forums (I will be happy with one post a week).

Assistants will also be required to write a short summary of the friendly match that they set orders for and post it in the forums, this will count as community engagement.

ucansee is an experienced manager who was also an assistant during my last term and he will also be scouting our 19 year old prospects.

USTADEAZAM55 was also an assistant during my last term and took charge of most of our friendly matches.
He is also keen on learning and improving his club along with the U20 side.

Please welcome Arthur as the 3rd assistant to the U20 management team.

This will be his first time getting involved with a national team in the game so please make sure to provide him and the rest of the management team with your support.

Faced Kenya U20 in Dry/Windy conditions.

Put in to bat first, our top order provided us a good start with half-centuries from Fida Mohammad (59) and Nawaz Saleem (50).
However, our middle order could not build on that and we could only finish with 211/9.

Kenya U20 started well in their chase and unlike us their middle order supported them as well and got them to a 4 wicket win.

Surprisingly it was a low scoring game considering it was a Flat pitch but great work on the win.
