Opening match of our T20 tour was played on Slow/Windy conditions.

Winning the toss and batting first, we had a slow start, kind of like Pakistan at the real-life T20 WC, but rallied to finish strong with 154/3.
Tanweer Shahzad scored 58 and Gulraiz Afridi scored 47.

India U20 had a brisk start to the chase but our bowlers did their best to contain them and we only lost in the 19th over.
Aftab Shariq was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets and a run-out, which also makes him our Player of the Day.

Next up is England U20 on Dry/Sunny conditions.

Went up against England U20 on a Dry pitch with Sunny weather.

Won the toss and went in to bat first. Another slow start for us meant that we could only muster 136/7 on the board, with opener Muzammail Qambrani top scoring with 40.

Our seamers suffered damage at the start but our spinners performed massively well in trying to get us the win as they picked up all the wickets to fall.
Mehr Qutab, our Player of the Day, was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4-0-19-4 and Jamil Abid got 3 wickets, but unfortunately we lost by 2 wickets.

Game 3 vs Canada U20 on a Dry pitch with Hot weather.

Canada U20 won the toss and went in to bat first.
Our seamers once again started off a little expensive, but then came back well to clean up their lower order after our spinners had applied good pressure on them, getting them all out for 130.
All the bowlers were among the wickets, with Shams Hamid picking up 3 wickets, but our pick of the bowlers was Shahnawaz Rashid with figures of 3.5-0-20-2 in unfavorable conditions.

We started off steadily in the chase but were able to overcome their 4 spin bowling attack and get home with 3 wickets to spare. Anwar Bhutto top scored with 31 and our Player of the Day goes to Shams Hamid for his bowling, with double wicket over at a stage when the platform was set for them to get a good total.

UAE U20 up next in Crumbling/Humid conditions

We won the toss and elected to bowl first against UAE U20 in Crumbling/Humid conditions.

Their batters gave them a steady start in tough conditions, and despite us picking u regular wickets they still held on to score 118/8.
Mehr Qutab and Aftab Shariq both picked up 3 wickets each.

A solid opening partnership got us off to a good start, after which we suffered a collapse and struggled at 58/5. Iqbal Subhan and Aftab Shariq then got together for an important 44 run partnership which gave us hope. Just when it looked like we might actually pull it off, we lost 3 wickets, including both Subhan and Shariq, in just 5 deliveries which was too much for our tail to overcome and we suffered a narrow 2 run loss.

21 from 10 with 1 four & 2 huge Sixes! helped in sealing a narrow 5 runs win

Final match against Zimbabwe U20, won the toss and decided to bat first on a Dry pitch and in Hot weather.

Our top order gave us a steady start and the middle order then capitalized brilliantly on it to guide us to 147/5, with Anwar Bhutto hitting 21 off just 10 balls at the end. Top scorer was Gulraiz Afridi with 41.

We got an early wicket but they managed to get a 73 run partnership for the 2nd wicket which made it look like it would be curtains for us.
What followed then was the stuff of dreams as our bowlers bowled incredibly well at the death to close the game out and earn us a hard fought 5 run win.

We cannot really pick a Player of the Day as it was an overall team effort.

Another tour where we were among the lowest rated teams but still managed to survive and finish in 4th place shows that we are taking steps in the right direction, and thanks to everyone who has trained Pakistan players and to those who support us, hopefully we can continue this progress.

First match vs Bermuda U20.

I have to apologize to everyone for messing up in the orders so we had 2 spinners and both our keepers playing in Uneven/Humid conditions.

Despite this, we won the toss and batted first.
Batters did well to put up 222/7 with everyone chipping in, Fawad Afridi top scored with 37.

Our bowlers took it to the 47th over but the orders mess up meant we could not really defend the target.
No Player of the Day as there were contributions from quite a few players.

Played against Canada U20 in Uneven/Hot conditions.

Their batters started well and everyone contributed for them with our bowlers being a touch too expensive after their 100 run 4th wicket partnership which got them to 252/9.
Jamil Abid and Farouk Kumar picked up 3 wickets each.

We started solidly but then lost our way, going from 32/0 to 76/5, after which Akif Jabbar and Sohrab Moiz tried to keep us in the game with a wonderful 122 run partnership for the 6th wicket, but we could only manage 218/8 and lost by 34 runs.
Akif Jabbar top scored with 68 not out and is also our Player of the Day for trying to keep our chase alive.
