Low scoring thriller and Mushtaq Muqeem was on fire again with the ball, however we simply did not score enough runs but still did well to only lose by 2 wickets.

Alright folks, the end of this season is almost here, and with that comes the end of my term as the U20 manager.

We managed to stay in Division 2 in ODIs which gives the next manager a decent chance of making the next ODI World Cup.
We went up to Division 2 in T20s and qualified for the T20 World Cup after a long absence, but relegated again in a term of ups and downs.

We were not helped by the lack of quality players, especially in the bowling department, and even now the immediate future does not look too good in the bowling department, so it will take some effort to earn success, and this is also where the community can play a role in future success, whether that is by pulling Pakistan players, participating in competitions here on the forums, or just visiting the forums.

Finally, thanks to everyone for their support, and a huge thanks to USTADEAZAM55, Hchou1717, and sammyline for being part of the management team.

I wish all the best to whoever gets elected as the next U20 manager.

Free to enter competition in-game, all you have to do is enter the competition and pull Pakistan players.

In return the Admin team is awarding Pavilion Membership to all teams that enter the competition.

Hello everyone. Thank you all who voted for entrusting me with this position of manager of the national side. I'd like to thank all the previous managers who did a great job in representing and leading our country. We have a lot of work to complete before our first tour of the season:

1. Assistants: I am looking for two assistants, 1 who will focus on batting and 1 who will focus on bowling (or if anyone wants to focus on Keeping/All-rounders instead of the above categories). I will focus on the remaining category. We will all work together to finalize our lineups before the next tours, so please let me know if you are interested. I already have a few people who applied, but if a Pakistani manager really wants to join, I can try to arrange that (since the applicants thus far are not Pakistani). I will avoid a situation where we are scrambling to find a playing XI on the eve of a tour match. Preparation will be key.

2. Friendlies: Friendlies will be very important for us moving forward. I will explain more in our team page, but we will use these as best as we can.

3. Squad selection: Let's try to finalize a squad we like.

Looking forward to it!

Congrats hchou on the election win. I wish you and your new team a successful tenure. Will be following the upcoming tours with interest and rooting for the kids to do well!

Also, my appreciation for USTAD for leading the side well in the previous few seasons.

Thank you all for your warm wishes.

Happy to announce that we have two assistants joining the national squad this year @ynwa and @USTADEAZAM55. ynwa will be tasked with focusing on the batting side of things, USTADEAZAM55 will be doing WK/AR, and I will oversee it all in addition to managing the bowlers.

Additionally, we will have a good set of friendlies coming up as we prepare for the first OD tour coming up in a few weeks. Yesterday was our first match (against England) and although we lost, I think we gave them a good scare at one point, especially considering they are one of the best sides in the world and we were significantly less talented. Up next will be the friendly against Scotland to help practice our tactics on a seam friendly pitch such as green. This will be a good challenge since seamers are lacking in our pipeline and I want to see how we hold up against a solid team. We will have a crumbling and flat pitch match coming up as well which should be a good gauge of different conditions and our performances in them.
