Yep- the QG v RR round 3 contest comes down to the Silver match now. Tie breaker ongoing.

I want to ask all PSL participants this:
Would you be in favor of us adding playoffs to the competition like we had previously and how real-life PSL and IPL does?
This would extend the competition by 2 weeks if we play Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and Final.
Only playing semis and final would extend it by 1 week, and we could give an extra win to the top 2 sides as a benefit of finishing in the top 2 if we just do semis and final.
Or if anyone has any other suggestions then we are open to hearing them.
Personally I am in favor of option 2 that I posted since that means we are only adding 1 extra week as opposed to 2 and finishing in the top 2 in the group stage also provides some benefit.

Apologies been busy...
Only one of the 3 PSL Fixtures have been concluded with Multan Sultans continuing their dominance wrapping up their fixture against DGKZ with it currently 5-0 with 2 matches yet to be finished.
The other two fixtures are both currently drawn. QG and RR both have one win and it will come down to who can win at least two the three matches remaining.
KK vs FF has come down to a captain vs captain shootout to decide the fixture.

I’m in. semi final and final makes sense to me. Would that mean the comp ends in week 12?

Semis/Final would mean a week 11 finish I believe. Since currently, the final is supposed to be week 10.

Finishing Week 11 as TDC said.
It would be Week 12 if we go the route of real-life PSL or IPL.
Also I was thinking that the 1 extra win for the top 2 should only come into play if needed, so if they lose 3-4 then add the extra win to their tally, but if they win 4-3 or by a higher margin then we do not add the extra win since it would not be needed.

Since majority were in support of this, we will be adding an extra week to the competition so that we can have semi-finals.
1st will play vs 3rd and 2nd will play vs 4th
1st and 2nd place franchises will be awarded an extra win if they need it as a benefit of finishing in the top 2 during the group stage.
So if either one or both of them lose 3-4 in the semis, it would technically mean that the score is tied 4-4 and the higher ranked franchise during the group stage goes through.
