Who should the first game be against?
I was wondering if should be between a team from each of the 2nd division grades?
Then it has a possibility of moving up or down.
But how do we decide?

I'm not sure what you mean by start from there but it sounds time consuming. If you're starting with a random match anyway, I propose it be a friendly between the managers of the earliest New Zealand U19 and Nats still playing.

I just don't see the need to trawl through every game since day 1 to set up a fake lineage that begins with a random match 37 seasons after it was played when it can be decided tomorrow or the next day by a single game between 2 of our longest-standing players, each with an historical commitment to NZ.

And no, I don't know who they are.

Stella job!

I reckon we need a cool name for the shield.

Do we know what area of NZ CPS Vandals are from?

Would give it some history maybe.

I see I have the dubious distinction of being the last to lose the shield, although five tenures is more than I thought I would have had. I would say the current tenure will go close to breaking some records. The Slack Caps are as formidibale a side as I have faced since arriving in Youth 1.1, and that is saying something.

This should provide a little something extra in seasons to come.
I've sold a number of players and there's a reasonable chance I'll lose it on the first defense!
