We're really struggling to set a competitive total. We'll be lucky to get to 120 and even that doesn't seem like it'll be enough.

M. McCoombe (rfs) 2-0-13-1, N. Laurence 7 (12b), C. Schwartz 0 (2b)
End of over 11 (4 runs) - Ruff Royals(52-4) RR 4.73

A bit late on looking at opponents so couldn't really select the pitch I wanted , so went with Sticky as the best option available.
At 24 for 4, wasn't sure that it was a wise choice but a bit better now.

That's much better, now we have a target that we could defend.

The batting wasn't good enough and gave the bowlers too much to do.

got a really young youth side at the moment with only 3 players older than 18.06 years. Plus we don't really have a wicketkeeper lol. Just hoping to maintain our position in Div 4 for YOD and YT20 over the next couple of seasons before hopefully pushing up the leagues as some of the younger ones develop. Good win today:

We lost the toss and were put in to bat against Egham Town in a crucial game in the relegation battle. I'm reasonably happy with the batting but we're still going to need to bowl well. McCall hit 45 and Issa got 44.

Lost the toss and was put into bat on sticky/hot. Got up to a decent total with 148/5, Morrison top scoring with 52. In reply looked like opps were gonna romp to victory at 123/3 from 16, but Mateta ripped through their middle order and tail to end with 5/26 as we secured an unlikely 10 run win.

A lot closer than I would have liked but we got the 4 points so that's all that matters.

A very surprising total against one of the teams at the top who we are level on points with. I really need this to act like a slow pitch now as it didn't seem to when we were batting.
