Ffoh put us in to bat and the batting went very well largely thanks to a nice 46 from House and a brilliant 112 not out from 63 balls for Dotson.

It always looked like my bowlers had things under control and although we didn't bowl them out it was never really in doubt.

Overall 130,295 135,008

Ruff Royals won by 26 runs.

12 points clear with 3 games to go and superior NRR so it's looking like promotion is very likely. :D

a very rotational side today with our batting stopping at 6, and a couple of our younger bowlers getting game time. Got closer than i thought to be honest, bowling well to restrict our opps to 121/7 in their 20 on sticky before falling just 12 runs short, 109/9. Good effort from a young side against a strong opponent

Two players away on international duty so I'm delighted with that result. It was a great bowling performance as we restricted them to 99-9. Callaway took 4-18 and Moses 3-18. We reached 101 with just under 6 overs to spare.

One more win should see us safe (it definitely will if that win is next week against Topmen).

A great start by Martel , and not the worst start by us overall.

The contrast between the promotion campaign in YT20 (2.1) and the relegation battle in YOD (2.2) remains stark.

Leyland Lions won by 35 runs

Leyland Lions Ruff Royals
Batting - Top Order 7,419 8,336
Batting - Middle Order 6,604 5,782
Batting - Tail 4,326 3,712
Bowling - Seam 8,664 (24) 5,988 (16)
Bowling - Spin 7,859 (16) 7,988 (24)
Fielding/Keeping 8,752 9,814
Overall 137,040 132,996

We couldn't really restrict them and they scored 212 on an uneven pitch. We then struggled to keep up with the run rate and only made 177 for 9. The only real positive to take was a good performance from my fast bowler, Combs, who took 4-33.

We're only out of the relegation zone on NRR.

This has been an excellent performance so far opps all out for 113 and we’re nearly halfway there already

End of over 50 (9 runs) - Ruff Royals(242-9) RR 4.84

We were put in to bat on an uneven pitch so I'm happy with that total. Most players contributed with the bat but Liberatore top scored with 49. Issa was next best with 46.

S. Hodges (rfs) 1-0-3-0, B. Dutton 14 (29b), D. Angus 9 (23b)
End of over 14 (4 runs) - Camberwell Carrots(43-3). 200 runs required from 36 overs. RR 3.07 RRR 5.56

A good start by the bowlers but we need to keep it going.
