Batting - Top Order 12,337 13,880
Batting - Middle Order 10,932 11,951
Batting - Tail 6,483 5,579
Bowling - Seam 11,545 (40) 13,949 (40)
Bowling - Spin 12,400 (10) 14,194 (10)
Fielding/Keeping 15,017 16,838
Overall 216,161 240,566
won the toss and had a bat on slow/humid, Morrison played a magnificent innings with an unbeaten 122, crucially putting on 44 with Gallagher for the last wicket to drag us up to a respectable 222/9 in our 50. In response opps were going along nicely at 158/1, but a flurry of quick wickets saw us emerge victorious by 29 runs.
With our superior NRR promotion was virtually assured barring a truly disastrous performance, but it was pleasing to get over the line with a win. A super effort from the team to get promotion back to Div 2 at the first time of asking, special mention to Mateta who was superb throughout the season taking 36 wickets to comfortably win the bowling prize. Shame that Dann and Riedewald both had quiet ends to the season and neither could take top spot in the batting, but over 700 runs each is still a great effort, and to have three of the top five batters was pleasing to see.
Not sure what to expect next season, would be disappointed to be in a relegation battle, but I don't think we'll be a realistic promotion candidate either. Certainly Ffoh look like being heavy favourites for promotion in which ever league they find themselves, so hopefully we avoid them

A decent but unspectacular bowling effort on an uneven pitch to restrict them to 130. A solid batting effort to get the win with 6 wickets remaining and 8 balls.

Oxhey Players won by 7 wickets
A pretty easy win for Oxhey Players. Only taking 3 wickets on a sticky pitch is poor. I'm going to at least consider changing the pitch. I don't think I've ever regularly played on a flat pitch before but perhaps my weaker batting might benefit from that. Sadly, my batting is going to get weaker in a week or two with the loss of Laurence.

F. Yaseen (lfs) 10-0-74-1, C. Dickerson 65 (46b), R. Schneider 17 (6b)
End of over 50 (12 runs) - Ruff Royals(333-5) RR 6.66
I'm not sure a slow pitch was the best one to choose for the NRR boost. Some disappointing innings from players I'd expect to do better such as Mills and Schmidt and they both need to do better than they did last season. Bullock and Dennehy got the bulk of the runs with Dennehy getting 90 whilst Bullock scored 108.
R. Schneider (rm) 4-1-10-0, H. Brewster 2 (7b), L. Braafheid 10 (23b)
End of over 8 (1 run) - Zippys Rainbow Destroyers(23-2). 311 runs required from 42 overs. RR 2.88 RRR 7.40
Okay start to the bowling especially for Combs who has both wickets to fall so far.
