An expected loss, but one of our relegation rivals has just gone bot, that pretty much ensures we will avoid relegation now.

home against Top of the league Inchigeela Angels, very difficult match and not expecting anything from it. Won the toss in humid/sticky and having a bat, 79/4 at drinks, hopefully we can get up to at least 150ish to have a chance.

Will it be enough to win? Doubtful, but pretty pleased with the batting effort here, 168/10 in difficult conditions.

Very happy with the total, my money is on us actually defending this, crazy....

P. Massey (lfs) 7.2-0-39-2, F. Wako 29 (42b)
End of over 46 (maiden) - Danger Hotspurs(182-10) RR 3.96

I probably should have bat first but the bowling didn't end up too badly. The wickets all went to the spinners: 3-35 for Hodges, 3-36 for Moses, 2-39 for Massey.

J. arap Kiplimo (rfs) 8-0-24-2, S. Whitehead 14 (20b), M. Roberson 0 (1b)
End of over 36 (2 runs) - Ruff Royals(127-7). 56 runs required from 14 overs. RR 3.53 RRR 4.00

The batting hasn't gone too well though. I don't think we're going to get these runs.

good effort against the best team in the league, but came up just short, losing by two wickets, not helped by a couple of drops late on.

McCall hit 41 but we were quite a way short. I'm reasonably happy considering it wasn't a completely first choice team though.

I decided to pick a strong team just to make 100% sure that we secured promotion to division 1 without having it go to the last game. The bowling wasn't amazing but the batsmen were great. Patterson hit 62 not out and 61 not out for Dotson.

We can't have too much of a promotion party because this same group or players are staring at relegation in YOD.

Not the worst start by our bowlers, playing bottom today and need a big win as competing for 4th spot and the prize money.
