Ruff Royals won by 30 runs

No wickets for Rush on his last youth outing but he was a part of the winning team so I'll not complain. Westerveld picked up 5-37 which is his best return.

The bad news is that because of Rush we'll be a bit weaker next week but the good news is that's pretty much the only youth player I'll lose this season.

Home against Ruff Royals, sticky hasn't been working for me lately so switched it up to uneven. Don't think we're gonna rate too well today as playing one less bat to accomodate another seamer, and a couple of our better bats badly needed resting. reckon we'll be around 215-220K today so I'm not expecting a positive result ... we'll see lost the toss anyway and having a bat.

I got caught out by the pitch change and played a 2nd allrounder (Perry) instead of a young fast bowler. Total is okay from my perspective, I guess, but I have no confidence that my batters can chase any sort of total.

I was really disappointed by Callaway. He is a spinner but that's one of his worst ever performances for me; I feel like he hasn't been doing that well lately.
