Great performance by the boys on humid/uneven, winning by 100 runs. Youngster Elphinstone was the star with the ball, picking up figures of 9.4 - 1 - 24 - 5. Both my all rounders struggling with fatigue now, so will need to rotate a bit next week, hopefully we'll still have enough against bottom side Cutting Edge CC.

That ends the innings of Egham Town CC. wolfberries will have a target of 112 to chase.

Dropping four from six chances didn't help, but the total is certainly within reach.

It took us a little while to take our first wicket (9.6 overs) but then we managed to get them all out for 106 on a slow pitch.

We made hard work of the batting but 48 not out from Clarke got us the win. It's looking like we might survive relegation as we're 12 points clear of the bottom 2.

We were in terrible strife at 42-5 when we batted first. 53 from Banerjee and 55 from Delap got us to a barely respectable total of 152. I didn't think that was going to be enough but we managed to get the to 69-4 so there was some hope. Roche looked like he was going to win the game for them comfortably but we started picking up wickets again and the run out of Roche on 66 left them at 138-8. It was very tense at the end but 149-9 then became 151 all out as Fareed took the final wicket. Zondeki was the star of the bowling with 4-25.

End of over 50 (7 runs) - Ruff Royals(265-7) RR 5.30

I'm shocked that on a dry pitch we've actually put in a decent batting performance! Mills got us off to a good start with his 62, Liberatore got 57, and most of the rest of the proper batters got 20+.

It wasn't until the 18th over that we picked up our 2nd wicket but things went better after that.

That's probably our best performance of the season in SOD. Massey took 3-26 and Moses took 3-42. We're still 4 points and a lot of NRR from safety but it's looking better than it was.

won the toss and had a bat on hard/windy. Looked in trouble at one stage at 115/4, but a superb 255 run partnership between Dann with 203* (132) and Ebiowei with 95 (84) saw us to 379/5 in our 50. Opps never looked like troubling that, and we ended with a 145 run win and a nice boost to the NRR. Nine wins from Nine, but could come down to a one game shootout between us and Bedfordshire Jats to see who gets promoted!
