Tough game today. We won the toss and are batting first. It started well but 2 wickets in an over from Da Vinci has swung it back in Inchigeela's favour.

End of over 25 (3 runs) - Ruff Royals(117-4) RR 4.68

Disappointing wicket in the final over to put things well and truly in Inchigeela Angels' favour. I think we need at least another 140 from here.

having a bat on hot/dry. Was 200-3, very quickly 221/9 ... last wicket pair put on another 11, who knows how important that might prove to be. 232 feels like about a par score, but we'll have to bowl better than we did on Tuesday that's for sure

End of over 50 (7 runs) - Ruff Royals(288-8) RR 5.76

I'm happy with that total. We're playing a good team though so it might not be enough but it should give us a chance if we bowl well.

Some good batting performances with Best ending unbeaten on 115, Clarke with 49, and McCall hit 44.

It's looking very even. At the same point in our innings we were 174-4. I suspect that they're going to do better batting in the last 15 overs than we did.

A very close game.

Fielding/Keeping 16,686 16,223
Overall 239,003 252,024

Ruff Royals won by 9 runs. :dance

It was looking like we weren't going to win for a while towards the end but we managed to pick up the wickets we needed. Medium pace allrounder Perry was our best bowler with 4-52 and he took some crucial wickets.

We lost the toss and were put in to bat. 103-2 at the moment with Jupp out for 52 and Bullock for 38. It's good to have wickets in hand but we need to up the scoring rate massively as we've got less than 4 overs left.

I'm not convinced that is enough so we're going to have to bowl really well.

A draw is okay, I guess. The ratings are decent considering we lost a couple of players to the seniors. Westerveld was the pick of our bowlers with 2-18 but, sadly, his last over went for 10 and that was the difference between 2 and 4 points.

Not really expecting much from today's game, put out a weakened team and not sure we would have much chance with a full team out.

We could do with a win here. I'd say things are still very much in the balance. One of my exceptional fielders dropping the first ball of the match wasn't a particularly encouraging sign.

Overall 227,767 216,708

My team decided to test my nerves but we got the win in the end.

In the chase to reach 128 to win, my batters were 71-1 after 6 overs, 91-2 after 9.3, and 110-4 after 13.3. Then we collapsed to 117-8 still needing 11 runs but with real tailenders batting. I was expecting to lose it from there but Massey (dreadful batting skill) managed 10 not out and hit the winning run.

It's looking like it's going to be a really tough season in T20 and I'll be happy just to survive.
