Clarke did great with the bat to score 81 and to be fair to him he did still take 4 catches despite the drops.

Sadly, it just wasn't our day today. I'm going to be keeping a very close eye on Whitehead from now on as the way he's been performing with the bat just isn't good enough. With an average of 27, at the age of 28, he really needs to be showing me that he can up that average; it's only really his captaincy that is keeping others out of the batting line-up and it may be time to say enough is enough and replace him with a young captain.

The batting went quite well but the bowling was a bit underwhelming. Ames got a rapid 39 and Obuya 37 as we set them 139 to win. We only took 4 wickets but we just about stopped them from reaching a winning total.
