Splitting the technique into bat and bowl techniques and removing it from the keeping and fielding summaries.

Implementation
Say bat = poor, bowl = outstanding and tech = expert
bat tech would be poor, bowl tech would be expert

Say bat = exceptional, bowl = dreadful and tech = exceptional
bat tech would be exceptional, bowl tech would be dreadful

Say bat = accom, bowl = outstanding and tech = expert
bat tech would be accom, bowl tech would be expert

AR Tech trng will be added, work still to do on difference to current AR trng

Would need seriously looking at for all rounders before considering this. Unless absolute guns its a nightmare to train a true all rounder (min outs bat and excep bowl) Splitting tech up would make it impossible without a training talent, especially if you have to train separately.

yeah the impact on AR's would be my main concern with this. And if we're not talking about AR's, then does it really matter?

I think the way technique works is unique and spot on. It isn't particularly realistic but it reflects that even on a certain training programme you will also improve your other skills (batting, fielding for a bowler etc)

Whilst I understand there’s been a lot of asking for this I still don’t understand what it achieves/what the benefit is?

I think tech should be removed from the fielding/keeping summaries - I also think the fielding summary should be visible. I don’t think tech needs to be split to do this.

Thats why we would be adding AR tech trng, plus some other changes to be discussed ARs will still be well possible as they are now

Fielding SUmmary will be coming

Firstly I dont believe tech trng is realistic, train fielding and improve your bat and bowling skills
Train batting and your fielding improves.

Also, other changes, perhaps removing the tech gap or reducing the diminishing returns, will allow for more varied players

The AR concerns are valid, so I’m assuming that today’s ARs will still be possible to train under these changes

Otherwise, there’s a portion of the player base who are calling out for player variety and this is a really nice route to achieve that

Very mindful of being able to maintain the players we have today, some people wont change so we need to make sure we accommodate them as well.
Every type of player will be simulated thru all the changes inc making it viable

Sounds very realistic to me. No batting practice where I haven't thrown and caught a few balls in between.
And even when fielding is the main bit you also do some batting and bowling.

I agree, a lot of the different fielding drills compliment batting tech and running between the wicket. rapid reaction slips training and other reactive catching programs assists a batsman in improving his reflexes, hand to eye coordination, improves reaction time and teaches them about fielder placement and the best areas to place their shots. I think its totally reasonable.

That argument doesn't wash with me, and if we wanted to we could trickle some tech but not the level it is now

I think boscorp has a different argument to me.
I'm saying no-one just practices fielding for a season. Ftp stands out as a game because it is not based on a limited amount of sessions but a more holistic method of training. Technique being used for both batting and bowling ties into that.
